Great place to stay for safari trip
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel River Front in Yala! From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the lovely pool was a real bonus and the perfect place to relax.

The receptionist was incredibly welcoming and helpful, taking the time to explain everything we needed to know about the hotel. Gayan, our waiter, was also fantastic. He was so friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our meals and provided such a great service.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the full-day safari we booked through the hotel. Despite the very early start, it was an unforgettable experience! Our driver and guide, Channa, was absolutely brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative and clearly knew Yala very well.

Thanks to Channa, we were lucky enough to see a leopard, a family of elephants and so much other amazing wildlife at surprisingly close range. There were plenty of other jeeps around competing for the best views, but Channa always seemed to know exactly where to position us. He was incredibly patient and made sure we had fantastic views while also helping us capture some amazing photos and videos that we will treasure.

Channa genuinely went above and beyond to make our safari special, and we would highly recommend going on safari with him. He made what was already an exciting experience truly unforgettable.

We would happily stay at Hotel River Front again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Yala. A wonderful hotel, lovely staff and an absolutely fantastic safari experience!

Cuidado con las llaves...
Pros:

Es un buen hotel, de tamaño y prestaciones medianas. Sin ascensor, muy limpio, y con habitaciones de tamaño satisfactorio. La piscina está impecable, y por la noche iluminan el espacio con una llamativas bombillas de colores. El desayuno es el habitual en la zona para la categoría de hotel, selección de frutas y tortilla a escoger. La mayoría del personal es muy amable, con especial mención del Sr. Crayan.

Cons:

Sin embargo, perdimos una llave de plástico de acceso a la habitación y nos cobraron un precio abusivo por su reposición. Lo pagamos sin discutirlo porque fue nuestro descuido, pero manifiestamente se aprovecharon de la situación. Estos detalles arruinan toda la experiencia. Francamente, muy mal.

Good value and beautiful rooms
Pros:

Staff is amazing, especially the gentleman in the restaurant. As well as the driver Channa from our safari, he also makes sure you are first in line for the morning safari.
The room and bathroom are beautiful.

Cons:

One little thing is that the bed was a little bit to hard for our liking.

Fantástico alojamiento, con todas las comodidades y buena zona de restaurante y piscina. Bonito y muy limpio.

Cons:

Quizá su ubicación que no tenía mucha opción de cena fuera del hotel, por eso es buena opción cenar allí. Mi pareja y yo sólo estuvimos una noche pero nos habríamos quedado más!

Super fijn hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Erg mooi hotel met een fijn zwembad, een kleine gym en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het eten in het restaurant was ook uitstekend.

Cons:

We hadden wat rode mieren in onze slaapkamer. Bij de kinderen op de kamer niet. Personeel probeerde wel alles om er vanaf te komen.

Excelente estadia, tivemos pena de só ficar uma noite. Recomendo e voltaria.

Fomos para fazer Safari, o Hotel tratou de tudo. Excelente localização e muito boas instalações. Uma boa piscina. Cama confortável e excelente casa de banho. Comida do hotel também muito boa. Fizeram late check-out sem cobrar qualquer valor. Pessoal muito atencioso.

Un 10 en toda regla.
Pros:

Es muy nuevo. Precioso por dentro, el baño parecia de lujo. Habitación super comoda. Hicimos el safari con Channa y es un gran profesional. Se esforzó por ver leopardos y conseguimos ver uno. Tienen restaurante y esta muy bueno.
