Hotel River Front

Tuvimos la suerte de alojarnos en una de las cinco habitaciones renovadas del hotel cuyas fotos aún no estaban en la web. Son muy modernas y cómodas. El baño estaba genial y la cama era muy cómoda. La piscina estaba limpia y estaba muy bien. El servicio fue encantador. Nos organizaron el safari por la tarde durante 5 horas por un precio de 60€ por persona con entradas incluidas. Nuestro guía Chana nos recogió en el hotel y nos volvió a dejar en el mismo al terminar. La verdad que era una pasada como encontraba los animales en el parque, totalmente recomendable hacer el safari con él.

This hotel was absolutely amazing I honestly can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located just a short distance from Yala National Park, making it ideal for a safari trip.

The breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of food to choose from. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the pool area overlooking the lake. It was incredible relaxing by the pool while watching crocodiles swim past and monkeys playing in the trees!

What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. I have genuinely never met such lovely, welcoming people. Shara at reception greeted us with the biggest smile and arranged our safari for us, which turned out to be one of the best experiences ever. I specifically requested Channa as our safari driver after reading other reviews about him and they were absolutely right! He was fantastic, and thanks to him we were lucky enough to spot a sloth bear, which is incredibly rare, along with so many other amazing animals.

Champaka also looked after me and my boyfriend throughout our stay and was always so friendly, cheerful, and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he constantly made an effort to come and chat with us, which made the experience feel so personal and special.

Another wonderful staff member was Sumith. Although he was unable to hear or speak, he still always came over to interact with us, and we had such lovely conversations through gestures and actions. It was genuinely heartwarming. Sumith and Champaka would even keep an eye out for crocodiles in the river and excitedly point them out for us to see!

I don’t normally write long reviews, but our experience here was too good not to share. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Tissamaharama, book this hotel you will not regret it!

The staff were kind and helped us with any request we had. The room was great, and we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our one night stay here. The room was well equipped, the pool was fabulous and the breakfast was great. We also chose to enjoy dinner there and it was lovely. This was a great hotel and everyone was very kind and helpful.

家族経営のようでしたが、ホストの対応は細やかだった。朝はヤーラサファリに早朝に行く際にも朝食をボックスに入れて持たせてくれた。夕食の味も満足だった。

Good food, great service and lovely room. Channpaka was brilliant and we went on a great safari in Yala with Channa.

The staff was especially friendly and helpful.

In een woord geweldig! Dit hotel is helemaal af. Alles erop en eraan. Zwembad, gym, goed restaurant, geweldig personeel en heerlijke kamers.
De kamer heeft goede bedden met een heerlijke badkamer. De douche heeft een goede straal en heerlijk warm water.
Het hotel en de kamers zijn schoner dan schoonst. De tuin en het zwembad zijn prachtig onderhouden.
Als je iets nodig hebt wordt het geregeld.
Ook de safari naar Yale national park was prima geregeld. Inclusief een meeneem ontbijt. Het team van hotel River Front heeft deze 10 dik verdient!

We loved everything about our stay at this fine hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were excellent, spacious, modern and very clean. The food was great, and breakfast was huge and so tasty. We loved the outdoor pool and surrounding gardens which are spotless and so well cared for. It was a delightful stay and we would recommend very highly. When we return to Sri Lanka we will stay here again most certainly. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.
