Immer wieder einen Aufenthalt wert und eine schöne Auszeit
Pros:

Sehr ruhig, nicht überlaufen. Gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Schöne Lage. Freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Wenn der Wind entsprechend steht, riecht man die Holzpellet-Heizung deutlich.
Service Personal manchmal noch etwas „frisch“: Was bei einem Gericht angeboten wird, sollte man kennen und nach dem Gargrad des Steaks sollte gefragt werden.
Aber alles kein Beinbruch und definitiv kein Grund, sich zu beschweren 😉

Ein schönes Hotel in toller Lage, sollten wir mal wieder im Westerwald sein, gern wieder
Pros:

Wir waren Ende August 2026 für 3 Tage in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist sehr gut, vom Balkon unseres Zimmers hatten wir einen schönen Blick, aufgrund der bequemen, großen Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen, wenige Minuten entfernt befindet sich der Wildpark mit vielen Tieren, das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Cons:

Der Wellnessbereich ist für die Größe des Hotels sehr klein, es gibt einen Innenpool (sehr kalt) und einen wärmeren Außenpool (der wurde an einem Tag leider instandgesetzt und war geschlossen), Getränke und Obst stehen zur Verfügung sowie genügend Handtücher, die Sauna wurde erst nach Wunsch angeschaltet und daher dauerte es einige Zeit.

In den Zimmern, im Wellness- und Badebereich stinkt es nach Abfluss
EZ sehr lieblos gestaltet, keine Möglichkeit der Buchung eines EZ mit Klimaanlage
Im Bade- und Wellnessbereich vieles in die Jahre gekommen, starke Kalkablagerungen und Rost

Pros:

Hervorragendes Frühstück, die Lage des Hotels auf dem Berg, inmitten des Wildparks ist toll. Es gibt zusätzlich zum normalen Restaurant noch ein Panoramarestaurant, was sich langsam dreht. So wie es bei manchem Fernsehturm ist.

Ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem sehr komfortablen Hotel mit angrenzendem großen Wildpark.
Pros:

Die Lage und die Aussicht waren sehr gut, hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Frau Paulus an der Rezeption war, wie auch schon bei unserem letzten Besuch, für uns das "Highlight".

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer hat wohl wegen der grossen Hitze in dieser Woche etwas geschwächelt. Dies wurde aber durch einen Klimatechniker behoben.

Pros:

Nice hotel directly next to a little wildlife zoo/park, which you can visit for free. So a nice opportunity for an after-dinner walk. Basic wellness facilities, nice evening meal with competent staff. Breakfast starting at 7pm, which is a bonus for me. I liked it!
