Location out ways the negatives but not sure I would return.
Pros:

Lovely location and staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

No mirror or dressing table to blow dry hair only a little mirror on the windowsill. No long mirror either.
Strict 10 30 closing if the bar even for staying guests.

Wonderful stay, everything exceeded our expectations
Pros:

Staff were all amazing from start to finish! 1 bed apartment was fantastic, super clean and comfortable. We booked really last minute but check in was really quick and easy. The food was delicious, we had dinner and breakfast! We will definitely recommend this place and are planning to return.

Cons:

When you are on your own accommodation ie bed and breakfast is always expensive and it would be nice to see accommodation being made available for singles at rwasonable prices.

Perfect stay in beautiful surroundings 🙂

A very old Inn with stunning scenery and peaceful countryside walks. Friendly staff, good food and lovely to see a traditional lakeland pub thriving within the local community.

Great traditional pub with fantastic accommodation
Pros:

Lovely cosy traditional pub with a lovely beer garden. Food was fantastic and our table was reserved for us from when we arrived. This was handy because it started to rain so we had to come inside. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Staff were lovely. We stayed in the 1 bedroom appt (Tythe) and needed the sofa bed as there were 4 of us. This was pre prepared for us which was great. Both beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The accommodation was clean and spacious with a fabulous view and lots of outdoor seating and space. Tythe has the best shower EVER, perfect after a day on the fells!
