Great location
Not a lot of room in the car park for a big car
Properly is in a great location very central. We booked one of the AC rooms which was perfect. The Breakfast is always lovely and the staff super friendly.
The front desk team could smile once in a while. It was hot but they were so miserable.
The room was tidy with everything that was needed. I was amazed by the power of the shower and wasn't expecting it at all. The staff on reception that covered the bar in the evening were very attentive even though they were a little stretched.
The staff at breakfast did come across as a little harsh and didn't really seem to appreciate our presence, almost like we were making them do some work although the food was good enough. I did like the fact that they had proper size glasses for fruit juice rather than little tumblers.
The room was basic, but clean however I missed the breakfast due to lack of sleep as it was so noisy during the night from outside.
Noise
Room 60. A bit small and a long way from reception. Also in the bathroom it was not easy to get in and out of the shower. No high level handle. No bath mat inside the bath so slippery.
Please note, I was promised a shower CUBICLE but this was not present.

Location. Comfy bed. Friendly helpful staff, breakfast.
Overall, it was clean but a lot of cobwebs on the high ceiling over the bed.
Loud creaky floorboards on the stairs but more distractingly noisy with people moving around on floor above me/stairs nextvto my room, but I guess it's an old building

Parking was a nightmare and the charge is a bit hefty considering i paid for 4 rooms for 4 nights.
good central location - rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The majority of the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful
The £12 parking charge for guests waa not highlighted at the booking stage although is noted once you have confirmed and there are signs all over the hotel. We were disappointed with the full English breakfast it was rather bland and the bacon was extremely chewy

We have stayed at the Angel Hotel before. This time we chose the platinum room which has AC. In the middle of heatwave, this was perfect. AC was powerful but quiet. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was well stocked. Breakfast was quite relaxed with friendly staff attending. Overall nice stay
Parking. Limited number of spaces. £12 charge per day. It would be nice if the lounge and breakfast room are also air conditioned.
