Overall a really nice place to stay.
Pros:

Amazing location near town so only short walk away from everything
Pool area beautiful
Immaculate gardens

Cons:

The owner was very abrupt and not pleasant to deal with.
He relocated us due to no wifi initially and then refused to provide pool towels as we had already got them which we had not.
He could have made more effort to speak nicely and show that he cared for our concerns.

All in all was a wonderful place to stay, and the owners couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay perfect

This accommodation is a must, perfect location right at the bottom of the hill to the famous church.

Beautiful venue, kept very clean and efficiently run.
Pros:

Breakfast was not available during our stay but our room had a well equipped kitchenette and the supermarkets in the village were just a few minutes walk or you could easily wander into the local cafe a few footsteps from the gate. Superb location, excellent restaurants, bars and cafes, great vibe in general to the village. The complex itself had a beautiful pool, a small bar and comfortable sun loungers. We haired a car from reception which was simple to do and there is a large parking area to the back of this property. The owner picked us from the port on arrival and made every effort to ensure our holiday went well. It was a very pleasant place to stay and would and have recommended it to others.

Cons:

We asked to change rooms because we felt the room we were originally given (although beautiful) was in the middle of the complex and privacy was slightly compromised. The owner was absolutely fantastic and offered us a choice of 3 others. Life would have been a little easier if breakfast was on site but hey it didn't spoil the holiday. Shame the bar shut so early in the evening but again easy to find other bars.

Truly had potential but didn't do justice
Pros:

The place had nice facilities and it was close to the central square (Pounta Square). It had nice view and the transportation from and to the port was managed with their shuttle bus.

Cons:

One of the main problems we encountered was the ants. We had paid 233 euros for an apartment with one double bedroom and a sofa bed. The first night, the sofa bed and the sofa was full of ants. There were more on the kitchen counter, the bathroom, under the waste bin, on the table etc. We had to take the covers off and place them outside until someone from the reception answered the phone because we could not stay there overnight. When they finally answered we switched rooms. They moved us to an apartment which had 2 bedrooms and 3 sofas, but they locked one bedroom because "it was huge for 3 people". This room had LESS ants, not that the problem was solved. Plus the receptionist was kind of angry when we were showing him pictures of ants we had found, but he didn't quite believe us because he wasn't able to see them. It was not possible to kill all the ants so yes they kept moving.. The rooms didn't have a mesh on the windows and the guy told us that it was our fault that we had the ants because we opened the windows for a bit. The new room didn't have 2 doors in the shower, the one was missing, they kept getting back the roll of toilet paper we were using, so we only had 2 rolls and we had to ask for more. They placed 1 molded soap bar and one of each (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion) in the room even though we were 3 people there. They gave us 3 Nespresso capsules for 3 people for 4 days. Not that any of that was the main problem but paying that much money for cheap solutions and this kind of behaviour was nothing but disappointing. At the end the receptionist told us if we wanted to fake-cancel the reservation so we could have back 70 euros (out of the 699 we paid), but this was truly just to not get a review like this.
