Pros:

Cozy comfortable hotel with beautiful tranquil gardens and delicious choices of breakfast options.

Cons:

It would be great to have an activity offered in the morning like pilates or yoga as the winters are cold and it is not always pleasant to walk outdoors.

Cons:

The staff is friendly but overworked- long shifts. The service in the restaurant and pub was shocking… food substandard. We asked for large cups of coffee at breakfast and got very decorative mismatched cracked mugs apparently the staffs mugs as the hotel doesn’t have any!
Such a shame as it is a beautiful old hotel but totally mismanaged.

Best place I have been in a long time. Took me back to England/Scotland🤗
The most welcoming, beautiful place with a warm feeling.

The history, brewery and food

Cons:

That this used to be the fly/ trout fishing destination and now it’s completely ignoring the history. Such a pity.
As a result may stay somewhere else and just come for the food and beer.

Excellent breakfast, loved the authentic pub for dinner. Beautiful grounds, and excellent brewery on-site.

Cons:

Put the wi-fi password in the room. Shower could do with an upgrade.

Perfect breakfast. Homemade muesli the best.
Omelettes, Eggs Benedict and selection of cheeses delicious.

Cons:

The shower took very long to produce hot water.

Trip to Midlands Meander
Pros:

The location was great!. It was close to my our families' function at the Netherwood farm and Gallery Wedding venues.

Cons:

I didn't like the weather . It was icy cold outdoors, but the indoors had heaters, which kept the place warm .

A nice stay in the Midlands.
Pros:

This is a beautiful stay. Comfortable bed and warm room on a chilly night.

Cons:

The staff. Unwelcoming. I had been recommended Rawdons as a welcoming country hotel. And as lovely as the setting was, it really is staff that make it a welcoming experience.

Schöne Lage aber hätten uns etwas mehr "Dienst am Kunden" gewünscht. Liegt wohl am management

Die Lage ist sehr schön mit grossem Garten und Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien

Cons:

Das erste Hotel in dem wir uns nicht willkommen gefühlt haben. Von Empfang (nicht freundlich) zu einem kalten, klammen Zimmer ohne Heizer , Fernseher hat nicht funktioniert trotz Reklamation . Upgrade wurde zugesagt, aber Zimmer war Standard. Im Bad der Spiegel hatten einen Durchmesser von 20 cm. Reservierung für Abendessen nicht erfolgt, ein Tisch in einem kalten Nebenraum wurde angeboten. Preis-Leistung nicht gegeben- von uns nicht zu empfehlen. Hotelleitung scheint abwesend zu sein.
