A fantastic stay at Barringtons in Plett
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Barringtons which was well situated in Plett. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent.

Very nice venue with a good restaurant.

Very clean, friendly staff and safe

Cons:

No lift. All rooms on the 1st floor. Steps are very difficult to climb with luggage

Espaço lindo, comida excelente e ótimas cervejas artesanais
Pros:

Excelente estadia! O pequeno-almoço é magnífico e de grande qualidade. Adorámos também a prova de cervejas artesanais incluída na tarifa, assim como o night cap. Jantámos no restaurante do hotel e a comida estava ótima - as tapas eram excelentes. O espaço é muito bonito e ainda tivemos um upgrade gratuito de quarto, o que tornou a experiência ainda melhor. Ficámos genuinamente arrependidos de não ter reservado mais uma noite.

Cons:

A única nota menos positiva foi a limitação de 200 rands por pessoa no pequeno-almoço. Apesar da qualidade ser excelente, não é muito agradável ter de estar a fazer contas logo pela manhã durante as férias.

Toller Aufenthalt
Pros:

Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt. Sowohl das Hotel- als auch das Restaurantteam waren äußerst kompetent, aufmerksam und herzlich. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, sehr sauber und die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend.

Besonders begeistert hat uns das selbstgebraute Bier – absolut fantastisch. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut, aber das Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant war das eigentliche Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Die Gerichte waren unglaublich gut, kreativ und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Besonders beeindruckend war, wie selbst klassische Speisen modern und kreativ neu interpretiert wurden, ohne dabei ihren ursprünglichen Charakter zu verlieren.

Ein großes Lob an das gesamte Küchenteam und alle Mitarbeiter – man merkt, mit wie viel Leidenschaft hier gearbeitet wird. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Elegant and beautiful stay at Barringtons.
Pros:

The rooms are beautiful, modern but elegant and very clean. The staff are unbelievable and really looked after us. The location is so central in Plett.

When can we go again?
Pros:

Breakfasts were excellent value, a small menu but something for everyone - including separate menu for kids. Delicious flat white coffees.
Everything is neat and tidy and beautifully decorated. We loved our simple dinners by the fireside - a short all day menu. We even thanked the chef on the last night... cringe, but we had to.
I also learnt that the staff are so friendly, just ask for what you need. Its not a help yourself to beach towels or blankets kind of place.
Close and far enough from the main town to make it a peaceful stay. We opted for the quieter beaches Robberg (1 -5 ) and had divine swims, avoiding the seal pups surfing the waves with mama seal in tow!

Cons:

Nothing really, the room feels a little small at first, but is designed for comfort. More wall hooks perhaps and a mirror at the coffee station to dry your hair.
