The location is quite convenient, close to pharmacies and restaurants. The only downside is that the street is one-way, so it can be a bit tricky to get in and out.
I had a very disappointing experience when checking in at this hotel. The actual room was very different from the photos on Booking.com — it looked much older and was also much smaller than expected.
The first thing that disappointed me was the bathroom floor mat. It was extremely dirty and looked like it had not been replaced or properly cleaned. If the hotel chooses to use white floor mats, they should make sure they are clean, or replace them with a more suitable option.
The sink was also broken. When I took a shower, the cold water tap was not working, so the water became extremely hot and almost burned me. This was a serious safety concern, not just a minor inconvenience.
When I reported the issue to the staff, instead of apologising or assisting professionally, the staff asked me in a way that made me feel like I was being unreasonable. When I went downstairs to speak with them directly, there was still no apology.
The hotel only started to resolve the issue and offered me another room after I reported it to Booking.com. Based on the room condition and the way the situation was handled, I was very disappointed and did not feel comfortable staying there.
