Great location in town, easy check in and all the family were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean smart and comfortable. A really good shower and comfortable price. Definitely recommend. Breakfast was also good
Nothing. The property is on a town road so you will have some traffic but they provide ear plugs
Nice room , it was a bit loud over a pub but we were so tired we fell asleep, linen was fresh and bed was comfortable and everything was clean
Coffee maker didn’t work and only coffee was for that machine
Saff /management fantastic could not do enough
Location on a slightly more busy road in a village. Not a nice view. Room well enough. Not my kind of pub but enough places to go in the village. Didn't see any on site parking which I expected.
On site parking
Location was great.
WiFi was awful and too noisy for me. My room was directly above a speaker and when I arrived at 3pm on Friday the music was pulsating in my room. It woke me at 8:20am on the Sunday morning. It was very loud.
This is the first time I have ever left a bad review on Booking.com. The Manager was very un-welcoming on arrival and continued with her attitude for our entire stay. She didn't like us from the get go because I stood up to her shitty attitude. I'm sure she's going to come back hard, I wouldn't expect anything less. Rubbish when you work in the hospitality industry....
One last thing, what's with the bright red neon light on the room that stays lit permanently, it kept waking us up!
Good location, with small car park adjoining the White Horse. Comfortable room. Dinner and breakfast were both very good, but for both meals the time between ordering and receiving food was inexplicably long (45 mins at dinner, 30 mins at breakfast).
The owner was very careful that the pub sounds didn't disturb us. The bathroom and shower were really nice. I apreciated the dedicated parking
The breakfast choices were limited . Didn't like the coffee. the feel just wasn't so comfortable. The traffic was noisy though not at night.
Lovely room in a gorgeous old pub, great location, easy (and free) off-street parking. Great staff, and our pub dinner was the best in our month travelling around the UK.
Property was nice, took a while to get our room key.
In the morning the guy said we were in the wrong room and needed to pay more even though we were shown to our room by the guy the night before.

Staff fantastic couldn’t of been more pleasant and helpful good little team
If I had to be nit picky suppose roads noisey considering it was a Sunday morning but did NOT bother me at all but if ur one of those it would bug you then my room on the roadsides no good for you
Great location, very pretty building. Our twin room was spotless with excellent shower, tea and coffee facilities and fridge.. Did not eat in, as visiting friends, but heard from other residents, that it was excellent. The owners were very friendly and helpful and were working hard to insure the White Horse is a great place to stay.
We stayed in room 3 with the funky neon and big tub - lovely
Great decor, welcoming staff
Not the pubs fault but it was so hot in the room which made sleeping a bit challenging. However the pub had done what they could by leaving a small fan in the room.
Very warm welcome from our hosts, great food and bar service. Nothing was a problem, bed was very comfortable and the room was stylish as was the bathroom. Big walk in shower. Stayed 4 nights while attending British grand prix at silverstone could not have asked for a better stay. The town itself is picturesque and locals are very friendly
How hot it was! (Not reflected on our stay it was just really hot) hosts provided fans in bedrooms
Location, parking, friendly and helpful staff.
Odd rooms out back but at least no stairs to climb. Didn't feel like a hotel or large Inn, a little rough around the edges. Not a romantic place to stay for sure.
Easy parking reserved for guests
Good value breakfast but not included in room rate
Staff helpful
Comfortable room
I didnt not like but A little quirky Neon sign " lets get naked "
Staff and food
Noise from the road
