The location
The chairs in the room were uncomfortable
brilliant location and on site car parking
The choice for breakfast was excellent and considered dietary needs.
I did let someone at reception know, while the cleanliness of the room overall was okay, the surrounding in the shower was very dirty. Hairs and typical bathroom dirt had lodged along with black mould. I felt as your hotel had high standards, I’d let you know and took two photos, one where I’d used a couple of tumblers of soapy water to dislodge some of the dirt and another with bits across the shower floor where the dirt flowed into from beginning to be dislodged. I was just pleased to be able to bring this to light and the person I spoke to said that, in fact, this week, the rooms are scheduled for a deep clean. Thank you.
Location was sublime. Beautiful views of Lindasfarne Castle

Staff was friendly and dinner was good
Free parking on premises
The room was hot, mattresses definitely need replacement, there was a power cut started at night on the island up until the moment we left (1 PM) so no hot breakfast, no WiFi, no light etc. Staff did all they could to make us confortable
A great location looking over the harbour and castle. The room was comfortable, the evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The bathroom in the triple room was rather small, and anyone even slightly bigger than myself would have difficulty getting into the shower cubicle because the door doesn't full open because of the toilet The door closer could be a litle softer to prevent so much door banging!
A good breakfast with plenty of choice of cereals . tea, coffee , toast .ect complimented by cooked food including Full English / craster kipper's / scrambled eggs ect Wonderful Views of the Holy Island Castle and Abbey from the
restaurant
Holy Island is a very busy place with parking at a premium . The Manor Hotel has 8 parking spaces for residents but these get used by customers using the bear garden . To discourage this short term parking the hotel has introduced a parking payment scheme of £12 per 24 hours payable by residents and non residents
Wonderful breakfast. Cooked perfectly and additional choices of starters and extras were brilliant. Thank you.
Nothing. S staff were so pleasant and made you feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them
We had the premier room on the corner with a great view of the castle and ocean

Location, friendly and helpful staff, good food
Plastic disposable glasses in room
Perfect location on the island and friendly staff.
It was fine for what we wanted, comfortable but not luxurious.
The location was perfect.
There was no dessert menu available so waiter just told us what the choices were. When paying for a dessert absolutely shocked to be asked to pay £12.50 for each dessert!
Room was small and the sink was blocked.
We had probably the best room by way of the views. We were on the first floor with two window views on adjacent walls. The rear view was an unbroken view of the castle, which was fabulous because we also had our 8 x 40 binoculars which gave us perfect views up close, and to the large side window, we were actually on the gable end of the hotel, which formed part of the boundary to the priory, which meant we looked down into the ancient graveyard, directly across to the priory ruins, and just to the right at the church and church yard. We arrived early ( via tide times ) and parked easily. The room was clean and large, and staff were lovely. We ate dinner and breakfast in the main dining restaurant, and both were fabulous. The only unusual encounter which was no issue and rather amusing, was on walking to the loo in the night, the floor slopes away, and has you kind of walking a wobbly line. This may be an issue if you’re not so able bodied, but I kind of liked it, and thought it added character to the clearly very old building. We plan to return in the future, and I’ll be looking to book the same hotel and hopefully same room in this lovely location that we highly recommend. Thanks to the hotel and all the staff. You deserve credit. Lee & Tee.
Zero to complain about. We had a most fabulous stay thank you.
Fabulous location with great views from garden, and our bedroom
Would have been nice for cost for bedroom to have for example some tissues and also proper glasses rather than plastic cups
