Wunderschönes, zentral gelegenes Hotel
Pros:

Liebevoll eingerichtetes, sauberes und schönes Haus, großzügige Zimmer, komfortables Bad, zentral gelegen, sehr nettes Personal. Hier konnte man auch mal tolle Tipps und Empfehlungen bekommenl. Das Frühstück war prima. Umliegende Restaurants sind schnell erreichbar. Das Hotel hat auch ein eigenes, schönes Restaurant.

Cons:

Das Gebäude ist etwas hellhörig, auch wenn es sich in überwiegend ruhiger Lage befindet. Es gibt hinter dem Gebäude einen öffentlichen Parkplatz, der von 9:00 bis 18:00 Uhr nicht wenig Geld kostet aber wir waren meistens mit dem Auto unterwegs. Ca. 400m südöstlich kann man gratis parken.

Excellent value in a lovely spot in green heart of the Netherlands, we will return!
Pros:

Excellent location, close to train station and shopping and center of town but still very quiet. Easy day trip transport links to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Gouda, Leiden, others. Beautiful building with lots of charm and very very clean. Friendly and professional staff. Large room with covered outdoor balcony area. Very comfortable bed. Nice bedside tables and reading lamps. Good outlets. Good Wi-Fi. Ample closet space with plenty of clothes hangers. Delicious and ample breakfast. On site restaurant with outdoor seating was wonderful for sunny days. The food in the restaurant was very good, and it is clearly a popular place with locals. Interior was cozy on rainy days but we actually had a two week stretch of no rain. Coffee and tea machine in room. Charming decor. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. They gave us a secure location to put the bikes that we rented during our stay. Lots of tv channels including BBC NL in English. Other guests we encountered were all very quiet and polite.

Cons:

Other reviews have noted steep stairs. This is true, however, they did take our bags up for us, and it is a historic building, so there is nothing to be done about steep stairs. It is part of the charm. They do have ground floor rooms, and good hand railings.

Very Homely
Pros:

Staff was very friendly, rooms were quite nice, there was parking nearby, and the breakfast was exceptional.

Cons:

The breakfast is served at the table without many questions, maybe some waste could be avoided by allowing guests to choose what they wanted.

Nach der Klettertour wartet ein tolles Gipfelerlebnis.
Pros:

Das entspannte und freundliche Personal bereitet einem einen herzlichen Empfang. Die Zimmer sind groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad mit der großen ebenerdigen Dusche erfüllt alle Wünsche. Das liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück hat optisch und inhaltlich viel zu bieten. Das im Haus befindliche Restaurant ist nur zu empfehlen.

Cons:

Um zu den Zimmern im zweiten Stock zu gelangen, sind zwei sehr steile Treppen zu bewältigen. Für ältere oder gangunsichere Personen ist das mindestens eine Herausforderung. Hier empfiehlt sich im Vorfeld eine persönliche Absprache,
