Nothing basically.
Clean and modern
Cheap, clean rooms and clean overall around the hotel. Breakfast was tasty and good value. Happy I could bring my dog. Staff helpful especially the lady in restaurant at breakfast.
Bed was SO hard and felt like a mattress of straw. Awful. Also the duvet itself had old blood stains / pee on under the duvet cover. Not a good night sleep due to hard bed and my room overlooking the ‘A’ road so was continuously noisy.
Vegan croissants were not freshly made that morning, as were hard as bullets when brought out, but clearly pre cooked, frozen and re cooked / reheated that morning when requested. So avoid those. Scrambled tofu instead of bacon for us vegans please as we were still charged the same even with less options so please provide alternatives. Or charge less for the vegan breakfast. Also I had to go to reception that evening and ask for bath towels as the only towel in the room on arrival on bathroom shelf was 1 hand towel! See photo. 2 of us in the room and there were no bath sheets.
Good location 5 minutes walk to the river and another 15 minutes and your in the city centre which reflects in the price compared to a city centre hotel. Clean and tidy and free parking
nothing of note
Breakfast was great. My mum has mobility issues and went for a shower and became scared as no grab rails. Jenny at reception was great and gave my mum a mobility room free of charge, customer service above and beyond
There is nothing that I didn’t like.
Staff are very friendly and check in and out quick. Breakfast was great. So close to Newcastle via the bridge and Glasshouse for events.

The location was very good and not from social amenities
Room service was very poor, no one came to clean or supply toiletries, no fan or air condition and no cupboards or drawers to keep our clothes.
Lovely lady on reception found us a room even though we were really early and let us make the most of the fine weather. Twin room with walk in shower everything worked.
Due to roadworks but tricky getting into hotel ,no problem leaving as you are now aware of what's happening.
Very pleasant, clean, full size single beds. Appreciated windows that open and fan in room.
Could have done with extra tea bags, coffee and milk as our room was in a different postcode to the reception and I have mobility issues but did not require an accessible room. I always think bottles of water would also be a good idea.
