The building is just magnificent. We had an amazing room overlooking the park with a very comfortable bed.

Ein modernes Hotel in einem wunderschönen alten Gebäude. Personal super freundlich, Zimmer groß und Sauber, Betten bequem und Frühstück sehr gut in einem traumhaften Raum. Dinner ist lohnenswert, preislich jedoch obere Liga.

It was like time traveling— what an elegant and comfortable treasure a short ride away from Stratford Upon Avon. We felt like we were in an episode of Bridgerton. A quintessentially British experience: very easy going and welcoming staff, the most luxurious yet comfortable bar for nightcaps, spacious and well-equipped rooms, even a selection of rain boots for inclement weather.

Room was extremely outdated, spare bed that was brought in was probably 50 years old with sharp broken edges on the bedhead, photos of the room presented online are very photoshopped.

Access to a sauna, spa and sweat room.
Outside of the property is in need of some TLC. Weeds growing out of the gutters. The glass roof over the pool area needs cleaning and the debris removing. The building needs some money spent on it to bring it back to life.
Receptionists are all very kind and informative. Breakfast was more than great. Beautiful property and garden.
View from the room was not great but i guess it’s because we booked the cheapest room.
Our double bed had two single mattresses pushed together. For the money this is not good enough. There should be a proper double mattress
The staff are what make this place (alongside the setting and location). Nothing was too much for them, and they were allowed to let some of their own personality come through. Two main stand out staff members for us were Daniel and J.
The facilities were a little dated and not the cleanest. If you want modern and clean facilities then this wouldn't be the place for you. Would expect slightly more for the cost of the property but definitely wasn't bad enough to complain formally about.
Staff were generally helful and friendly , perfect location , lovely grounds , nice room .
No comfy loungers on the patio, no a/c in the pool so couldn't use it as it was 32c, restaurant window sills had dead flies on not cleaned for a while.
Das Hotel an sich schaut sehr schön auch - ebenfalls der Park und die schönen alten Bäume. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Leider erhielten wir nicht die gebuchten renovierten Zimmer, sondern ein altes ubrenoviertes Zimmer. Das Upgrade auf eine Suite war nett aber das Zimmer hatte null Aussicht uns es war schrecklich abgewohnt. Insgesamt wirkte alles unsauber - die vielen Top Bewertungen sind nicht nachvollziehbar.
All went well.
