Underpowered air conditioning lost the hotel a point.
Pros:

Everything I wrote around two weeks ago.

Cons:

Just one point less than a perfect 10 because the air conditioning simply did not cool the room down and with temperatures of around 30 degrees C I did have problems sleeping!!

5 Star experience for a 3 star price!!
Pros:

This hotel, nestled amongst vineyards north of Verona, is set in grounds with massive trees and many plants and shrubs all well maintained. The courtyard is protected from the wind by the buildings and a stone wall covered with plants. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. The dining experience is worth every penny and is a highly enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours in the evening whether dining inside or al fresco. The wine cellar is well renowned and has just about everything from the region.
I have stayed on several occasions in the past and once even in "the tower room", which is set separate from the main building up a long set of stairs starting in the hotel garden ( Don't worry you can access it also from the back road!). I will be returning in a couple of weeks on my way back to Germany and am already looking forward to that!

Cons:

I cannot think of a single thing!

Fantastic atmosphere, great kitchen, supportive personnel! Great place to relax!
Pros:

Wonderful location in old buildings in the nearby to Verona. Fantastic oil trees around, path between the trees. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very helpful personnel. Restaurant offers splendid meals!

Pros:

Cons:

Old charm comes with a few quirks. The aircondition was a bit noisy, for instance. Nothing really bad, just don't expect fully modern standard.

Great food, great wine, lovely location.
Pros:

A lovely historic property with a courtyard to enjoy a drink before dinner. Excellent food in the restaurant and an extensive wine list that offers choices for every budget. Breakfast was also very good. The bedroom was large and had everything you would need.
