Pros:

I had a great stay at Maya Residency Madurai. The manager, Mr. Narayanar, was very kind and helpful, and he made us feel truly at home throughout our stay.

The location is also excellent—within walking distance of the Meenakshi Amman Temple, with several nice restaurants nearby. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended! 😊

Good place to travel, but one should carry lot of cash to visit Madurai.
Pros:

The location was ideal and very close to the railway station. You can easily walk there even with luggage—it’s hardly 300 metres away.

The auto drivers charge ₹150–₹200 for such a short distance, which is a complete waste of money. If the weather is pleasant, you can even walk to the temple. However, Madurai can get extremely hot, so it’s better to avoid walking during the peak afternoon hours.

Cons:

Tirunelveli Halwa was awesome, and the Palcova was superb! Both were really delicious and definitely worth trying.
Jigarthanda may not be a great choice for Bangalore guys, as we already get plenty of varieties of ice creams and desserts here. It’s definitely something different to try in Madurai, though.

Pros:

The place is excellent, the room is excellent, it was super clean, all the toiletries given which also included sanitary pad disposal. Full safety with CCTV cameras. Best place to stay. I will be staying only here whenever I am travelling to Madurai.
