I like the rooftop pool very much

From the moment we arrived (early) nothing was too much trouble. Roberta on the reception desk was so lovely and welcoming. Helped us out with towels to allow us to use the amazing roof top pool whilst we waited for our room to be ready. Special mention to Georgia ❤️ who helped make our 1st day so special serving us way too many drinks 🍸 😄😉 (and thereafter serving us breakfast always with a smile 😃) and to Marko 🎶 (the pianist who plays whilst the sun sets around the pool and lounge downstairs) who very kindly tried his best to play my request. To Giuseppe who was also always friendly.
You are all what makes this place special. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for the memories we made on our 1st but won't be our last visit to Sicily.
The only thing I would like to warn future guests about is the floor tiles around the pool are extremely slippery when wet, so walk around with care after having a dip.
**To the hotel a few warning signs and edging strips would be very helpful**

Location and view to the sea and the town were really nice
Nina and Alberto from reception were friendly and tried to make do for a very bad experience with noise.
The pool was a really nice bonus

Not good value for money as the hotel is very expensive and located in a noisy area (beach night club across the street and Luna park, keeping us awake until 3am)
Loud Music which is constant by the pool and can be heard non stop from the rooms below during the day
Rooms are badly insulated, every chair/furniture being moved can be heard several rooms apart and we were kept awake by noisy nocturnal neighbours every night sadly
The breakfast spread, the towels, and the amenities in the room, were sadly not up to standard with a 4*

The pool on rooftop was good; overall styling was good
Massively overpriced — the “luxury”, “sea view” and “private beach” positioning is very misleading.
We paid over £300 per night and the experience was nowhere near that standard.
The room was tiny, with almost no storage, and the facilities and cleanliness felt more like a basic 2–3 star hotel. Water was not complimentary and even the toiletries felt extremely cost-cutting.
The soundproofing was awful — the door was practically as thin as paper and we could hear everything outside. We had specifically booked a sea-view room but were given one right next to the lift. The “sea view” was limited, and because of the location we could hear people coming and going around the lift and corridor very clearly. I called reception about the noise and was simply told there was nothing they could do.
Breakfast was poor and limited. Amazingly, we were even told we could not take a bottle of water from breakfast and could only pour ourselves a glass to drink there.
The “private beach” was probably the most misleading part. It is not actually the hotel’s own private beach: you receive a voucher for a nearby partner beach club and still have to pay €20 for two sunbeds and an umbrella. The front rows were reserved while we were placed further back. You receive one towel per person, which must be returned, and an extra towel costs €4 as a “laundry fee”.
The issue is not simply the high price. It is the enormous mismatch between the price/marketing and the actual experience. Tiny room, terrible soundproofing, disappointing sea view, mediocre breakfast, paid “private beach”, and constant penny-pinching.
For £300+ a night, this felt far more like an overpriced tourist trap than a luxury hotel. Would absolutely not return.
Il etait tres bien situé pour nous. Il etait près du village sans être dans le feu de l’action. La piscine sur le toit était superbe pour se rafraîchir des journées de marche sous la canicule. Le personnel était très gentil.
La douche débordait à l’occasion.

Roof to pool was brilliant
The Spa is far too expensive. In some hotels the spa is free or a small charge.
The breakfast was typical continental but considering the price of the hotel, I would have expected better.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Geräumige Zimmer und sehr bequeme Betten. Ein Highlight ist natürlich der Rooftop-Pool mit Aussicht auf das Städtchen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut und reichhaltig. Schöner privater Strandabschnitt des Hotels, für Gäste inklusive. Ich habe eine Rückenmassage genossen, war herrlich.
Leider gab es an der Rooftop-Bar kein Essig/Oel mehr für den Salat.
