Pros:

The pool is amazing because you see the surrounding mountains. The room was cute and cozy and the bed really comfortable. The staff is nice and friendly. The food was great and we had a fine dining experience for dinner. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful, relaxing and peaceful surrounded by nature
Pros:

The outdoor spa and pool had breathtaking views of the mountain. The food at breakfast and dinner were exceptional and the service was very good throughout our stay

Cons:

Considering you are surrounded by such beautiful landscape, if you choose to sit outside at breakfast you overlook the hotel car park. I think this can be better placed

Un séjour exceptionnel au cœur des Dolomites
Pros:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Kolfuschgerhof Mountain Resort.
Notre chambre était spacieuse, tout comme la salle de bain, moderne et très agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, avec un très grand choix de produits de qualité.
Le personnel était toujours très accueillant et serviable, ce qui a largement contribué à la qualité de notre séjour.
L'hôtel offre une multitude d'espaces de détente : un magnifique jardin, plusieurs piscines (intérieure et extérieure), un superbe spa, différents espaces de repos, des saunas… Malgré le nombre de voyageurs, on n'a jamais l'impression qu'il y a trop de monde. Chacun trouve facilement son endroit pour se détendre et profiter du calme.
Mais ce qui rend cet hôtel vraiment exceptionnel, c'est son emplacement. Entouré par les montagnes, au départ de magnifiques randonnées, le cadre est tout simplement spectaculaire. Se réveiller chaque matin face à un tel paysage est une expérience unique.

Our stay did not meet our expectations
Pros:

The view from the terrace is breathtaking

Cons:

The hotel has a very large spa and pool area. The spa follows a fully nude policy, and during our stay everyone used it without swimwear. Also note that neither the spa nor the pool area has windows. We personally found this quite claustrophobic, although others may not mind it.

The hotel’s décor is, in our opinion, very traditional Alpine, with numerous taxidermy animals and mounted deer heads throughout the property. This aesthetic was not to our taste, although guests who appreciate this style may enjoy it.

When we arrived, we were directed to park in an outdoor public parking area that was unpaved. Indoor parking was available for an additional €25 per day.

The hotel consists of two sections. We were assigned a room in the older wing, which, in our opinion, felt dated, with red flooring and an older interior design. We also noticed a distinct scent throughout the hotel that we personally did not like, including the scent of the toiletries provided in the room.

Dinner was one of the biggest disappointments of our stay. Although the hotel appears to aim for a fine dining experience, the food was simply not to our taste, and we did not enjoy the dishes we were served. Based on our personal experience and preferences, it was one of the least enjoyable hotel dinners we’ve had.

One thing that surprised us was that bottled water served at dinner cost €13 per bottle. We were not aware of the price when it was offered, so future guests may wish to ask about beverage prices before ordering.

Overall, in our opinion, the hotel aims to provide a luxurious experience, but the style of luxury is very specific traditional Austrian rather than modern. That simply wasn’t the atmosphere we were looking for. Guests who appreciate classic Alpine décor and that style of hospitality may have a very different experience than we did.

Sixth visit and it never disappoints. The facilities are fabulous, the staff wonderful, and the food/drink sublime. Plus you have the perfection of the Dolomites as a backdrop. Already planning next visit.

Cons:

I have several food intolerances and despite contacting the hotel in advance to advise, this wasn’t really catered for. Would suggest calling to speak with someone if this affects you.

A stunning escape to the mountains!
Pros:

The hotel is situated in a truly stunning part of the Alta Badia region and is still run by the Ebnar family, who are clearly visible during your stay. Their commitment to excellence is clear to see and experience.

Cons:

We had to request a coffee machine in our room as it wasn't already there. The TV was not connected to the internet so was only showing terrestrial Italian TV and we were unable to airplay our devices to it.

Excellent but not value for money.
Pros:

Staff very personable. Hotel decor was fabulous. Outdoor spa area was extensive and impressive. Great location for great walks.

Cons:

Expensive. Everything was extra. Not even free water in the room. No complementary led walks like other hotels we visited. No coffee making facilities in the room.
