The staff was very friendly, location truly stunning and a fantastic wine list.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!
Pros:

Tolle Lage, kleines, aber feines Frühstück. Hochwertige Qualität. Zimmer war sehr schön, mit tollem Bad. Essen im Hotel, aussergewöhnlich. Pizza war die Beste rund um den See. Preis Leistung absolut top.

Cons:

Das Servicepersonal am Abend war desinteressiert und nicht aufmerksam. Als Hotelgast muss man trotzdem für das Gedeck bezahlen.

Nous avons aimé la vue depuis la chambre, la propreté et l’accueil.
Le petit déjeuner était bon et varié

Cons:

Nous avons été déçus par le dîner qui nous avait été recommandé par des amis ayant séjourné deux ans avant dans l’hôtel. Les portions étaient très petites avec peu de goût .

Très bel hotel et personnel très agréable.

Cons:

Notre belle chambre donnait sur une toite petite rue, donc aucune visibilité et pas du tout ensoléillée.
Il aurait fallu nous prévenir.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have travelled the world

The property was old the furnishings were tatty. It was far from boutique. The staff barely spoke English and were not helpful. I have a diary allergy and they were emailed initially to tell them this and I had no reply. I had to tell them on several occasions, whilst they’re not to serve me anything with dairy in it only to have to send things back because they contain dairy We were delayed in our arrival. due to border control ques let them know this they did there was not a boat to take us across they booked us a room on the mainland to stay the first night and still wouldn’t refund the first night room fee on the island. This this is sheer robbery and greed by the owners of the hotelThe breakfast was Spartan to say the least the croissants dry and old no facilities for toast and only scrambled eggs and greasy pancetta if you did not want the cheese and ham. Do not waste your money at this hotel.

Perfection!
Pros:

What a spot! Such a luxurious experience, we had a little nap in the afternoon with the window open. Dozing off with the sound of the water... looking out of the window with that view. We won't that anytime soon. Highly recommend, especially with the excellent restaurant!

We could not stay
Pros:

The actual room and view were gorgeous

Cons:

This was on an island not connected to the mainland, the only way to get to the mainland was to take a ferry which only run at very prohibitive hours (9am-6pm or so.) We wouldnt be able to make our flight in the morning or get dinner on the mainland so we ended up having to forfeit the hotel and find another on the mainland. Its also worth mentioning that only one or two restaurants stay open for dinner since the ferries aren't running. The only option to leave was a 200 Euro private boat. The actual hotel was wonderful, the situation was very challenging and needs to be considered before booking.

Vackert, lugnt och genuint i en miljö kantad av romantik och 1700-tal.
Pros:

Fantastisk miljö och omgivning. Balkong med utsikt och närhet till Lago Magiore. Personalen mycket trevlig och välkomnande. Vi kommer tillbaka!

Cons:

Inget men ön stänger ner vid 17 tiden vilket förståeligt men lite tråkigt. Dock lugnt och väldigt vackert.
