À 1 minute de la plage

Wir haben ein kostenloses upgrade erhalten. Der Blick vom Balkon war superschön. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Die Lage zur Stadt ist super, ruhig aber schnell am Hafen.

Disappointment in Elba
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location, right near one of the best beaches, close to restaurants and a short walk from the port and the major attractions. My room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the sea from my verandah.

Cons:

I was not made to feel welcome when I checked in. I know the lady who checked me in did not speak any English but she did not smile or even say welcome in Italian. There were no instructions for the safe in the room and even when they printed them out, it did not work. I had to request a "do not disturb sign", it was not provided so they are not bothered like other hotels are with saving water and labour by not washing towels and sheets every day. There was an old file with a Covid notice in and something in German in the room - either do not put out any info or put out something up to date in multiple languages. None of the staff knew any English and while it was great to practice Italian "Google translate" was required to get any info or make yourself understood. If you are a hotel dealing with guests from all over the world then someone on the staff needs to have language skills. One morning I asked for help and the man said (via Google translate) that the office is closed - come back in 20 minutes - so what was he there for? Breakfast was average - only on my last day did fresh fruit and cereal bowls magically appear. There were no salads, one type of cheese and meat, cold boiled eggs, some cakes and rolls. The breakfast area was badly laid out - there was always a queue for the coffee machine and people kept on bumping into each other. I usually do not include dinner with my stay but this time I decided to and it was a huge mistake. It was the worst food I have ever had in Italy - a tasteless lasagne followed by a dried out piece of unknown fish with burnt peas - I could not eat it. I gave them a second chance the following night and got oily, warm potato soup and an overcooked omelette with raw and greasy chips. I could not eat it and never ate there again despite having paid for it - I ate out. The restaurant staff were pleasant in the beginning but not so friendly after I "insulted their cooking" by not eating.

Colazione modesta: succo d ‘arancia in brick e cappuccino e caffè liofilizzato , cornetti congelati solo le torte sembravano essere realizzate in casa ,se si fa colazione in veranda vista mozzafiato

Pros:

Bella struttura, camera pulitissima, molto ampia con doppio terrazzo con affaccio direttamente sulla spiaggia delle Ghiaie, e ciò ha permesso di godere di un panorama splendido. Letto molto comodo, presenza di cuscini e coperte in abbondanza, bagno funzionale con doccia e bidet. Ottima e varia colazione, in più ogni giorno abbiamo potuto gustare dei buonissimi dolci fatti in casa proposti con estrema gentilezza e simpatia dal personale di sala. Parcheggio privato.

Eine wunderbare Zeit auf einer wunderschönen Insel und einem Hotel zum wohlfühlen. 😎🐶👍🏼
Pros:

Ein typisch italienisches Hotel , in toller Lage , sehr freundliches Personal, täglicher Reinigung des Zimmers , gutem Frühstück (hausgemachte Süßspeisen 😋) und Blick aufs Meer. Wir hatten eine eigene Terrasse mit Blick in den gepflegten Garten , perfekt für meinen Hund . Hunde sind gern gesehene Gäste . 🐶 😍
Auch die Möglichkeit zum Abendessen wird angeboten , bei täglich wechselndem Menü . In 5 Minuten zu Fuß ist man am Hafen und in der Stadt . Der Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Am Strand befinden sich Pizzeria , Restaurant und Bar . 👍🏼 Ebenfalls in 5 Minuten ist man am Spiaggia della Padulella. Ein traumhaftes Fleckchen Erde 🤩
Auch positiv zu erwähnen sind die kostenlosen Parkplätze am Hotel. In der heutigen Zeit nicht mehr selbstverständlich 😉 Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf Elba & kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Convenient location. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the property is fairly rundown and dated at this point and in need of an upgrade. The door to our room rubbed on the floor hard making a loud noise every time we entered or left. The electronic deadbolt did not operate properly. The room safe was not operational. There were no outlets near the bed. The standard room is very tiny.
