Small hotel but much better than bigger ones i've stayed. Clean cozy room with a small terrace, great breakfast with coffe and eggs made at the moment by your request. All the staff were friendly and eager to help. Will definitely come back!

Fantastiskt fint hotell med bästa läget och nära till vandringslederna. Mycket bra frukost och rummet var superfint och sängen var riktigt skön. Hit kommer vi gärna igen. Rekommenderas varmt.

Hotel Edda was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and you can tell that every single detail has been carefully thought through-nothing is placed there by accident. Everything is refined down to the smallest detail, from the decor to the little touches in the room.
The owners are incredibly kind and warm-hearted, treating you as if you were part of their own family. Their hospitality genuinely makes the stay special - it’s rare to find hosts who care so much about their guests’ comfort. Special thanks to their son Stefan, who is extremely responsive and communicative - he gave us super helpful tips and great recommendations for places to visit in the area.
The location is perfect as well - the hotel is right at a public transport stop, which makes exploring Selva and the whole Val Gardena area effortless. Free parking is available on site, which is a big plus. Having an infrared sauna in the room was an amazing touch, especially after a long day in the mountains.
The breakfast is fantastic - fresh, delicious, and with plenty of choice. The value for money is excellent; you get so much more than you’d expect.
You can truly feel that everything in this hotel was created with love and is maintained with the same love and care. We would happily return and can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Edda to anyone visiting Val Gardena!

The attentiveness, friendliness, and dedication to hospitality of the family was one of the best examples seen in a hotel. The breakfast had savoury and sweet options, good bread and apple cake, a selection of herbal teas, and the eggs-as-you-like-it service was also exceptionally good. And a good Italian espresso and cappuccino didn't go amiss.
In the rooms, timber elements marry the more modern settings and the modern bathrooms, and the comfy beds truly provide for a sweet night's dream.
What can I say? My friends and I found no fault in this family-run hotel.

Vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk ontbijt, schone en moderne maar toch authentieke kamers, fijne badkamer.

Our favorite part was the host Stefan. They also had an amazing breakfast.

The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, and our room was perfectly cleaned every single day. You can truly see that the hotel is cared for with love and attention to every detail. The surroundings are breathtaking, with the hotel located in a beautiful setting surrounded by the mountains – the perfect place to relax.

The biggest thank you goes to the entire staff. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything. It is clear that they don’t do their job just because they have to – they do it with all their heart. They made us feel at home from the very first moment and gave every guest genuine care and attention.

Thank you for such a wonderful holiday and for making our stay so special. We highly recommend Hotel Edda to anyone looking for peace, cleanliness, a warm family atmosphere, and true hospitality. We will definitely be coming back!

Je merkte gelijk van aanvang tot eind, de gastvrijheid van de familie die het hotel runt. Kamer was zeer ruim met een lekker balkon. Bovenal, was het ontbijt en de service erg goed.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte hier und wurden echt überrascht. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet und Preis-Leistung für ein 3 Sterne Hotel absolut übetroffen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und familiär, das Zimmer und die Sauberkeit top und das Frühstückbuffet ebenfalls wunderbar. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Personalet som jobbet der var fantastiske. Blide, hjelpsomme og veldig imøtekommende fra innsjekk til utsjekk. Meget god frokost. Høy kvalitet på både omelett og cappuccino. Servert med ett vennlig smil. Fikk gode anbefalinger for restauranter og fjell turer. Rommet så nyoppusset ut. Rengjøring var eksemplarisk.
