Absolutely loved our stay.
Pros:

My partner and I can’t rate this hotel high enough. We absolutely loved our stay. As soon as you walk in it is cozy and clean. It is a short walk to the center of town and bus station, which was perfect for us as we didn’t have a car. The breakfast, as well as the views from our room balcony were a highlight. (The photo is of the view from the stairs not our room). The staff there are so wonderful and helpful. We have recommended this Hotel to our family and friends!

Cons:

Wifi and hardness of the bed, but they definitely weren’t deal breakers.

Quaint Beautiful Hotel
Pros:

Loved the quaintness of the boutique hotel! Staff was incredible! They were very helpful and sweet. Breakfast was so delicious each morning! Sylvia is an amazing cook/baker and a super host! Location was close to town and the main lifts. We would definitely stay here again!

Cons:

Nothing! It is a fairly steep short hill up from town but anywhere you go in Ortisei there is a hill! We were there in Sept and the weather was perfect, I can imagine the rooms get hot in the summer- no AC.

Highly recommend this beautiful accommodation.
Pros:

Hotel Garni Walter is stunningly beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean, the family puts on an extraordinary breakfast and it is really well located in Ortisei. Access to key locations for walking, bike riding etc are extremely close by.

Wonderful Family-Run Hotel in a Good Location
Pros:

Garni Walter is a family-run hotel, and they make you feel like part of the family. Silvia and her son were extremely attentive and provided us with all the information and assistance we needed. Our stay was perfect.
The room for three people was a good size, comfortable, and clean. We also had a terrace overlooking the beautiful Ortisei, which was a bonus.
Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of items to suit all tastes. I would definitely book this hotel again in the future.

Cons:

The only point that could be improved is the mattress, which was a little old and uncomfortable and could be replaced.

Unsatisfactory,
Cons:

Unfriendly unhelpful receptonist, inattentive. No one there when we arrived. No help with luggage. Terrible towels, no washcloths, tinyny bathtub with no overhead shower, just handheld.

Charged us for a full extra night because we left early.
