Pros:

I was pleasantly surprised to see that I received a double room when I only booked a single. The staff was very friendly and answered my many questions. A real bonus was being able to do a load of laundry while I stayed at the Grange. Breakfast was super with so many options.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have someone at the hotel upon arrival. I realize it was early, but I was asked how I was arriving so, the staff knew it was by ferry and therefore it would be early.

Lovely character gem
Pros:

Lovely staff, good breakfast, secluded pool with sunshine, all good

Cons:

A little out of the town action at the top of a large hill, so a steep climb home. But we are in our 70s! Be easy for younger people.

Nice stay with family. St Peter Port 15 min walk down the hill.
Pros:

Nice breakfast. We enjoyed one lunch in the hotel, and a dinner on one of the nights.

Very happy with my choice, I’d stay there again.
Pros:

The staff were terrific, couldn’t have been more helpful. Very comfortable, bar/restaurant on site, heated pool, bus just up the street, interesting history.

Cons:

Not like I didn’t know this, a bit of a walk from downtown but as mentioned on a very regular bus service. Some more variety of breakfast options would have been nice.

An excellent 4 days that we thoroughly enjoyed and would return.
Pros:

The location was good
The breakfast was good but a very limited choice of cooked breakfast. The food in the restaurant was good but a limited choice of fresh vegetables. The staff were excellent and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bar was a nice atmosphere and very comfortable .

Cons:

Only as I mentioned above was the choice of breakfast and vegetables in the restaurant.

Pros:

The three ladies from Kenya who gave us breakfast were a delight and the lady who has been there for 20 years presiding the rooms was lovely too- the family and staff at the desk were friendly and helpful

Good staying break quietly
Pros:

Victorian building hotel within extended building & outdoor swimming pool, there has beautiful traditional stairs in the old building, feel spacious.

Cons:

Room is bit dated but it looks ok, the bathroom has been modernised. And the breakfast buffet tables need to organise set up well, nor mix up

The young man on reception was nice. The room.was ok

Cons:

The food and bar service were dreadful. Took ages to be served at bar. Food I requested they didn't have. What I got I sent back.
Very early check out 10.30. I did manage to get half hour extra until 11.

The main reception staff was very friendly, the pool was an extra amenity we also enjoyed.

Pros:

A beautiful hotel, an excellent breakfast while looking out over a delightful garden. I cannot find fault from the helpful and smiling staff to the bonus of a swimming pool. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guernsey.

Cons:

I can honestly say there are no negative comments.

EXCELLENT SHORT STAY IN NICE AND COMFORTABLE HOTEL
Pros:

Been to the hotel several times now, business and pleasure. Very comfortable rooms, nice staff, a homely place, good food in the bar restaurant and very reasonable. Hotel have managed to find me a room even at the busiest of times and it has parking which is handy for me when over working as bring vehicles over.
