Although I only stayed for a short time I would definitely stay at The Grange Hotel again.
Pros:

The Single room was very nice, bigger than I expected, as was the Shower room. The tea/coffee making facilities a bonus.

The Menu in the Bar was varied, the food was good, and the Staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Pros:

2ème visite en ce lieu, l'emplacement est très pratique car non loin du centre ville et très accessible via les lignes de bus à côté de l'hôtel. Le pub restaurant est attenant dc très pratique aussi avec un très bon rapport qualité prix, pensez simplement à réserver en avance car très prisé par les locaux.

Cons:

Faire attention lors de la réservation : une 'single room" signifie lit simple (90 cm) dc pr une personne et non lit double !
Un effort pourrait être fait sur la qualité de la literie (matelas pas très confortable car ayant vécu) et petits déjeuners avec quelques produits industriels.

Pros:

I enjoyed the walk to and fro town, the staff were lovely, the room was perfectly comfortable.

Cons:

there was no data on my eSIM on the island so important to keep a paper map with you. Once you are in WiFi range such as the hotel or cafe you are fine.

Okay but could have been better and was spoilt by the Flying Ants

Very tired looking and old furniture
Carpets were grubby and unfortunately I had a problem with Flying Ants which eventually led me to having to move rooms at 11pm!

Schönes, gemütliches, typisch britisches Hotel
Pros:

Das Hotel hat einen typisch britischen Charme. Es gab ein Lesezimmer und einen Pool mit Sprungbrett. Für den Pool konnte man an der Rezeption Handtücher holen. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet. Es ist ein altes Gebäude, deshalb knarzt der Boden etwas, aber uns hat das nicht gestört. Besonders zu erwähnen ist das Frühstück. Dort wird für jeden Gast abgefragt, was er vom Englischen Frühstück oder welche Art von Ei er gern hätte. Es gibt auch eine kleine Auswahl an Gebäck, Säften, Joghurt, Obst und Cerealien.
In der dazugehörigen Bar und Restaurant kann man sehr gut essen!
In Kürze in man mit dem Bus oder zu Fuß in der Stadt unten.

A real gem. If I go back to Guernsey, I would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

A lovely property with a pool area and nice big garden. My room was great, staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of breakfast served in a beautiful garden room. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel had a bar which served food attached to it and the food and service were excellent. The hotel even had a big lounge and a quiet reading room. This was a real gem.

Cons:

The only draw back was that is it quite a walk, up hill, out of town which was tiring at the end of the day, although you could get a bus up the hill. The benefit of being out of town meant that it was quiet and relaxing after the noise and bustle of St Peter’s Port.

Fantastic place to stay
Pros:

Excellent hotel in every way. Good sized pool and able to do lengths every morning before breakfast. Lovely sized room and good choice of food at breakfast. Meals in the bar are typical pub grub but very good. All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It is an easy walk into the town and lots of choices of bus back up the hill on the way back. Word of caution about buses. They are pretty erratic. Stop soon after 8pm back to the hotel and cancellations on the bus app not clear if you don’t know where the listed roads are! Consider hiring a car as seemed to be plenty of parking at the hotel.

Cons:

Water pressure on shower was rather weak.
