Exceptional staff support, beautiful location, amazing onsen, incredible meals, would love to return
Pros:

the amazing staff went above and beyond to help with two unusual requests and they exceeded my expectations. The meals were in a beautiful setting and top notch cuisine that was just perfect! The location is worth the travel by taxi or car. I loved the onsen facilities that were among the best in Japan. I would love to have the opportunity to return in the future. Do not hesitate on booking this one!

I love Snow Peak!
Pros:

Jyubako is great for glamping! And inclement weather. Breakfast, restaurant dinner and BBQ dinner were great.

Comfortable and luxurious glamping stay!
Pros:

Great facilities, the cabin, spa, and grounds. Great food for breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, with delicious options for lunch at Snow Peak Eats. Everything was perfect during my two-night stay.

Cons:

Be sure to check the opening schedules of the HQ if you want to go on the museum tour or the HQ store. When I went, the one full day I had (Wed), everything was closed which was a bummer.

Overall excellent experience we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Staff were great and accommodated us in the restaurant
Pros:

Excellent facilities, excellent restaurant and food. Onsen was very clean and the view from the property is amazing

Cons:

It’s a little harder to get to, no public transport. Need to get a taxi from the train station if you don’t have a car. But this helps make the experience, it’s in a beautiful location with amazing views.

Well-designed cabins made for a comfortable yet refreshing glancing experience - made extra special as we arrived in heavy snow ❄️

Both dinner and breakfast were also fantastic and delicious! Overall a really wonderful experience at great value 🤗
