The rooms were very clean & well maintained. Interiors were beautiful & artistic. Food was great & buffet options were bit less but rest everything was beyond expectations.

Mune was MAP. Dinner was not buffet but nicely served ala carte. But slightly impolite behaviour of a steward in such a great hotel was not anticipated
It was cleaner than any other place we saw in India, very comfortable and bed, big beautiful room and bathroom, ayurvedic products in the bathroom, good breakfast and restaurant, clean and nice rooftop pool, good gym. The location is perfect if you want to stay out of the busy area, which was our case. It was a much needed experience of calmness, cleanliness and comfort!
The location is not ideal if you want to be close by the river, you need to take +/-15 min tuktuk ride to get to the areas of interest, but if you want to stay in a calm neighborhood out of the chaos, it’s definitely the best location! It was pricy for our budget but definitely a well worth luxury experience.

Honestly, I cannot understand how this hotel can claim to be five-star. During my stay, it was practically impossible to rest. There was constant noise throughout the entire night — clattering and disturbing sounds coming from somewhere I couldn’t even identify. It may have been the ventilation system, street noise, or neighboring rooms, but the soundproofing is virtually non-existent. Street noise and sounds from adjacent rooms are clearly audible.
The bathroom design is particularly problematic and even unsafe. Water from the shower flows freely across the entire bathroom floor, with no proper barrier to contain it. After showering, the floor becomes extremely slippery and potentially dangerous.
The building and furnishings feel very worn and outdated. The hotel overall appears old and poorly maintained.
The only positive aspect I can mention is the kitchen — the food quality was good.
Overall, this was a huge disappointment. In terms of both value for money and overall standard, it does not meet five-star expectations at all.
Great property for a short 2 day stay in Varanasi- food is excellent and the property is in a excellent position in the Cantonment area
