Oiseaux, lucioles et écureuils seront aussi de la partie
La décoration des chambres et de la salle ouverte de restauration sont superbe avec beaucoup de goût
Le personnel est très attentif et au petit soin. Nous recommandons le poisson grillé qui a été un des meilleurs repas de notre séjour
Les repas par ailleurs ont tous été excellent à des prix raisonnables
La piscine et les bains de soleil sont très agréables
Si vous aimez les chiens, Shiva et Roxy seront friands de vos caresses mais vous laisseront tranquilles si cela ne vous intéresse pas

Je wordt ontvangen op een fantastische locatie met een zéér hartelijk welkom. Het hotel voelt direct als thuiskomen. Ook de kamers zijn mooi ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort. We kwamen toe voor inchecktijd, maar toch werd er tijdelijk een kamer voorzien tot onze kamer beschikbaar was. Het personeel is ten alle tijde beschikbaar om jou een fijne tijd te bezorgen. Een prachtige afsluiter van onze reis doorheen Sri Lanka.

The whole vibe of the place.. peaceful and quiet. Supun went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.

What a wonderful oasis of calm. The pool was beautiful, the food amazing and the communal areas so relaxing.

Echt alles! Dit is een verstopt pareltje wat boven onze verwachtingen was. Alles was tot in de kleinste details geregeld. We waren hier twee nachten maar het voelde als een maand. Echt fantastisch!

Oh, I hate to think that this wonderful place will become too popular and that I may not be able to stay again! However, it is without a doubt the most memorable hotel that we have ever stayed at. Tucked away in the jungle just outside Galle, it is an astonishing place - small, beautifully thought out and incredibly friendly. The owner (Indika) and his team cannot do enough for you, and the desire to please is entirely genuine. It is not some effort at doing it right, it is totally successful. Indika has a greats ense of style, whilst keeping the place functiinal, down to the last detail. The lovely rooms have outside (and very private) bathrooms. They are air-conditioned and also have fans over the beds. The pool is surrounded by trees and there are lizards and monkeys to keep you entertained. The food was the best we have had in Sri Lanka over the past two weeks, and that is saying something considering how good it has been generally. The photos do not really do it justice. Just leave room for us next time we come! 😉

Prachtig kleinschalig hotel , gelegen midden in de natuur, waar je de aapjes en varanen in hun natuurlijke habitat kan bewonderen. Heel stijlvolle inrichting van de kamers en de eetruimte . De kamers liggen verspreid op het domein zodat je veel privacy hebt , en een relaxt verblijf. Heel lekker ontbijt en diner en ontzettend vriendelijke medewerkers . Dit behoort absoluut bij de beste accommodaties waar we ooit geweest zijn

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft inmitten des angrenzenden Dschungels. Die gesamte Anlage ist traumhaft gelegen und bietet ein ganz besonderes Naturerlebnis. So kommt es vor, dass man direkt vom Bungalow aus Affen in den Bäumen beobachten kann, und auch Warane statten gelegentlich einen Besuch ab – absolut außergewöhnlich!

Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die offenen Badezimmer unter freiem Himmel verleihen dem Aufenthalt ein ganz besonderes Flair. Das Personal war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.

Auch das Essen hat uns sehr überzeugt. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die direkte Lage am Fluss. Von hier aus kann eine Bootssafari gestartet werden, die wir nur empfehlen können und die für uns ein echtes Erlebnis war.

Insgesamt eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, die wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können.

We booked the Deluxe Suite Rice Paddy, and it was one of the best stays we have ever experienced. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally spacious. Although the narrow access road through the neighborhood might give a different first impression, the property itself is a tranquil oasis nestled beside a branch of the Gin Ganga, surrounded by lush greenery and abundant wildlife.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food and beverages were outstanding, offering excellent value for money, with generous portions and delicious flavors. After 12 years in service, maintaining a 9.9 rating on Booking.com speaks volumes about the quality and consistency of the experience. Highly recommended and LGBTQ-friendly.

A fantastic stay at Ginganga Lodge. The riverside setting is peaceful and beautiful, offering the perfect place to relax while still being close to local attractions and Galle. The staff were incredibly welcoming with owner Indika helping out each day, the food was excellent, and the accommodation was lovely and well maintained. A wonderful retreat and one we would happily recommend.

Ginganga lodge is an incredibly beautiful gem of an accommodation located in/near a forest - we loved every moment of our stay there, from the highly attentive and kind staff to the beautiful suite we stayed in which was well furnished, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. One of those rare places that feels peaceful, secluded, and incredibly special from the moment you arrive. We loved every single moment of our stay there.

Although the lodge is tucked away from the main Galle area, the distance honestly was not an issue at all. They provide a paid tuk tuk service into Galle Fort (and I’m sure other areas if required) whenever needed, which made getting around very convenient. What stood out to us even more was how humble and hands-on the owner was - he personally drove us around in the tuk tuk at one point, and we only realised much later that he was actually the owner.

The food was delicious, the pool was incredibly refreshing after a day out, and the overall service was top-notch from start to finish. The entire place has such a calm, intimate atmosphere that makes it very difficult to leave.

(Also, special mention to their dogs, who were absolutely adorable and so friendly).

Endless animals, perfect pool, brillant breakfast and dinner variety. We stayed for 3 and extend one more night, cause it was a dream.

Like a beautiful oasis in Galle, the staff was fabulous, the breakfast was spectacular. The room and pool were just gorgeous. One day I didn’t leave the hotel as it had such a relaxed vibe hanging by the pool. Only a short Tuk tuk ride to the fort.
