Ginganga lodge is an incredibly beautiful gem of an accommodation located in/near a forest - we loved every moment of our stay there, from the highly attentive and kind staff to the beautiful suite we stayed in which was well furnished, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. One of those rare places that feels peaceful, secluded, and incredibly special from the moment you arrive. We loved every single moment of our stay there.

Although the lodge is tucked away from the main Galle area, the distance honestly was not an issue at all. They provide a paid tuk tuk service into Galle Fort (and I’m sure other areas if required) whenever needed, which made getting around very convenient. What stood out to us even more was how humble and hands-on the owner was - he personally drove us around in the tuk tuk at one point, and we only realised much later that he was actually the owner.

The food was delicious, the pool was incredibly refreshing after a day out, and the overall service was top-notch from start to finish. The entire place has such a calm, intimate atmosphere that makes it very difficult to leave.

(Also, special mention to their dogs, who were absolutely adorable and so friendly).

Endless animals, perfect pool, brillant breakfast and dinner variety. We stayed for 3 and extend one more night, cause it was a dream.

Like a beautiful oasis in Galle, the staff was fabulous, the breakfast was spectacular. The room and pool were just gorgeous. One day I didn’t leave the hotel as it had such a relaxed vibe hanging by the pool. Only a short Tuk tuk ride to the fort.

Everything, from architecture to landscape to animals to food to the service was so perfect. Our favorite part were the little little details, it was obvious that the people who worked there loved working there. And the owner absolutely enjoys building it. We had such a lovely stay and it was our favorite spot in our honeymoon from all 3

Ein wunderschöner, mysthischer Ort, den wir auf unserer SriLanka Reise in der Form nicht noch einmal so hatten: man fühlt sich wie im Dschungel, Affen klettern durch die Bäume, abends sind die Flughunde zu sehen. Wunderschön gestaltete und gepflegte Anlage mit Designermöbeln, die perfekt in die lokale Umgebung eingefügt sind. Leckeres Essen und toller Pool. Es gab immer Wasser zum Auffüllen und Schutz gegen die Mücken.
Sehr zu empfehlen.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à Ginganga Lodge. Tout d’abord la beauté des lieux, au milieu de la jungle un petit coin de paradis. Tout est bien pensé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La literie était aussi très bien, les petits déjeuners et le dîner le soir délicieux.
Ce lieu est parfait pour prendre du temps pour soit, ralentir et profiter de la nature.
Et pour finir un grand grand merci à l’équipe sur place qui est au petit soin tout au long du séjour. Cela fait vraiment la différence et rend le séjour unique équivalent à une expérience dans un hôtel 5 étoile.
Je vous recommande alors de séjourner dans ce lieu à minima deux nuits pour en profiter au maximum. Encore un grand merci à toute l’équipe sur place :)

Peaceful place with exquisite taste in design and decoration! Food and service were great and made our stay very comfortable.

We loved this place. From the beautiful location, the gorgeous interior design, the privacy of the rooms to the food and friendly staff. Monkeys in the trees while showering in the outside bathroom and the Tranquil pool area. Wish we had booked a longer stay but we had to leave after only one night.

We loved absolutely everything about Ginganga Lodge! We loved the way the staff looked after us and their impeccable service, the delicious meals and attention to deal with each one, the beautiful surroundings - natural sounds, abundance of wildlife and pretty gardens, the relaxing and very clean pool, the very well designed and decorated rooms, and just the overall feel of the place. Truly felt like we were on holiday and the staff just thought of everything. Appreciated the way they were constantly cleaning up little things and making the place spotless - even around the poolside! It was divine. Can't speak highly enough of this place. We will 100% be coming back.

Marvellously original! Beautifully designed buildings with so many unique artefacts

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Dschungel und schmiegt sich perfekt in die Umgebung. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und dauerhaft bemüht den höchsten Komfort zu bieten. Täglich wird frisch gewischt und abends das Bett mit Moskito-Netzen zum Schlafen vorbereitet.
Das Essen in der Unterkunft, insbesondere das Frühstück ist umfangreich und sehr schmackhaft.

Everything! The room was beautiful. Staff attentive. A very special place, highly recommend.

Staff very friendly. Willing to accomodate that I wanted an earlier breakfast. Good variety for breakfast. Pool was also nice and refreshing. Room was clean and large sized.
