A beautiful base for climbing Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala
Pros:

If you’re planning to go to Lion’s Rock or Pidurangala Rock, this hotel is the perfect base. Aside from the amazing swimming pool view, it’s very conveniently located near both sites and the restaurant street. The staff are very nice and helpful, and the room is spacious and very clean. The AC was working perfectly, and breakfast was delicious and fresh. We even had a chance to see a peacock walking next to the swimming pool while we were in it, a small monitor lizard passing by (totally harmless), and a mongoose running in the field behind the property. Overall, an amazing place for climbing both rocks and enjoying nature while staying on the property.

Misleid door de vele goede recensies.
Pros:

Het zwembad en het uitzicht

Cons:

De bedden waren slecht. De badkamer vol schimmel bij de wasbak en wc. Ze verbranden oude bladeren naast het zwembad, terwijl we bij het zwembad lagen.

Pros:

Prachtig uitzicht op de Lion Rock. Alles op wandelafstand. Heerlijk zwembad, met te harde ligstoelen. Geen mogelijkheid om iets te drinken bij het zwembad, voor ons het enige minpunt bij dit hotel

Pros:

Un hôtel avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le rocher du lion, La piscine est magnifique. Plein de restaurant à proximité, le rocher du lion est facilement accessible, à pied en journée ou en tuk tuk pour plus de sécurité la nuit. Personnel très agréable et bon petit déjeuner.
Par contre les nuits sont un peu courtes … réveil à 6 h par une colonie de petits singes qui s’amusent sur le toit… mais tellement charmant ❤️

Cons:

La douche… système d’évacuation hs … eau pas très chaude ou pas de pression

I didn't expect to actually have a view of the rock from the garden so that was a lovely surprise!
Pros:

The property has a lovely garden and pool overlooking rice fields with a fantastic view of sigiriya rock. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of dishes. The staff were also helpful in arranging a safari and onward transportation.

Goede locatie, lief personeel maar kies voor de betere kamers op het eerste verdiep. Die zijn mooier en hebben niet de vochtproblemen van het gelijkvloers. Wel heel attent personeel en zwembad met mooi zicht.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Lankapura Heritage. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit und haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt haben. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt und ruhig.

Besonders begeistert hat uns das leckere Frühstück und der schöne Pool – perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem Ausflug zum Sigiriya Rock.

Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! 🌴😊
