Terrible experience from start to finish—both rooms had a strong bathroom odor, stained and torn bed sheets, poor housek
Pros:

Terrible experience—there is honestly very little positive to say about this stay.

We reported these issues, but no satisfactory solution was offered. Booking through Booking.com also made us feel stuck, as there was no practical way to cancel and move elsewhere.

The rooms were not clean or well maintained, and the overall experience was far below expectations. The bathroom had mold and the doors were peeling at the bottom releasing odors. We ended up checking out one day early and booking another hotel because we were no longer comfortable staying there.

I would not recommend this property based on our experience.

Cons:

Very disappointing stay. From the moment we checked in, there was a strong, unpleasant odor coming from the bathrooms. We had booked two rooms, and unfortunately both had the same issue, so it wasn’t isolated to a single room.

The bedsheets were unacceptable—they were stained, including what appeared to be blood stains, and some were torn. We repeatedly had to request clean sheets and fresh towels instead of receiving them as expected. It felt like we had to ask for everything throughout our stay.

Making the reservation through Booking.com left us feeling helpless. There was no practical option to cancel and move to another hotel once we realized the condition of the rooms. Despite raising our concerns, we did not receive a satisfactory solution.

The overall cleanliness and maintenance fell well below what we expected. The odor, stained and torn linens, and lack of proactive customer service made the stay very uncomfortable. We ultimately decided to check out one day early and book another hotel because we no longer felt comfortable staying there.

I would not recommend this property based on our experience.

Wallpaper was peeling in the room. There was a hole in the curtain. Website advertised in room safe boxes. None were available. Asked for view room. Not available. Asked for lower floor. Not available. I left after seeing the room and moved to a new hotel.

Pros:

First of the location. It's excellent for travelers who are old or have physically challenged issues. Everything is a stone's throw away. Secondly the two restaurants in the hotel. They maintain high standards. It was excellent. The rooms are spacious enough to be comfortable. One note is that the room furnitures are getting old and creaky. The staff are every leave to attend to your needs any time you need them. Lastly Mr Senthil is always omni present to make your stay comfortable

Great location and value for money
Pros:

Location is at the heart of Kodai. Walkable distance to most of the city attractions. So many varieties of food restaurants near the hotel.

Cons:

Looks like a business hotel. There is no BAR in this hotel. Roof top restaurants "Wok" not serving any alcohol drinks. Guest car parking is not in the same building. It is in an open space and no valley parking facility.
