Fantastic location in Anacapri, Pasquale was amazing since the beginning. He showed us the property, took us to the pool, restaurant and gave us all the info we needed.
They have a private transfer to move around Anacapri that you must order in advance, but always available to you.
Breakfast was great and if you dine at the restaurant you'll be wowed by the amazing food and ambience.
La posizione, immersa nel verde, con un panorama unico che spazia su quasi tutta l’isola, dona alla struttura un fascino particolare. La gestione familiare e’ il fiore all’occhiello: tutti disponibili e professionalmente impeccabili. La bontà del cibo rende, poi, tutto più affascinante. Da suggerire anche ai più’ esigenti!

Arguably one of the best located hotels in Anacapri . Seriously you can not fault this place, if you are looking for an idyllic location away from the busy town then you must stay here , if serenity and views are your thing you will be waking up to stunning panoramic views of greenery , rocks and the Mediterranean Sea , everything Capri has to offer and on an evening, your own private sunsets from your rooms private terrace are worth the cost alone .
With all that also comes the restaurant, again arguably one of the best located ones on the island with fantastic home cooked food with family recipes passed down through the generations .
The pool is also amazing , perched up high, overlooking the med and the island of Ischia, sharing the same views as your own private terrace .
It is worth noting that the pool isn’t exclusive to hotel guests though, operating as a “pool bar” during the day, due to the lack of beaches on Capri, it’s a haven for the locals and people also staying in nearby villa’s and B&B’s, so it does get busy, very busy and does lose its charm a little if you are expecting the serenity that comes with the rest of the place . It didn’t really bother me as I just put my headphones on and soaked up the Mediterranean sunshine whilst looking at a view you’ll never get tired of .
The hotel also offers a private shuttle service to and from town which is fantastic, they had 3 little mini vans nipping up and down the tight roads and hills carrying guests of the hotel, pool bar and restaurant, which operates till around midnight and is just a phone call or what’s app message away .
So with all that in mind I gave a starting score of 10/10 as it really is perfect for location , cleanliness, views etc .
However the only thing that really let it down for us was the attitude of some of the staff .
I really hope the management have a read and take note of this as it’s the only thing that could stop people returning in the future.

After the madness of the Capri wharf, it was pure bliss to arrive at Da Gelsomina perched high above the island. The pool, restaurant and staff are amazing. The sunset views at dinner are wonderful.
The mattress was very firm- I am sure we could have asked for a topper but only staying 2 nights we didn’t bother. Minor issue though.
What am epic place and view🤩, lovely place, beautiful room, amazing view, and the best food. One word for my stay: GOLD🤩

Excelente hotel para descansar en la isla de Capri. Las vistas de las habitaciones son insuperables. Un sitio tranquilo, cómodo y muy agradable. El desayuno muy rico y el restaurante espectacular. Recomiendo totalmente comer en el restaurante. A destacar la atención y amabilidad del personal, hacen tu estancia maravillosa.
El alojamiento es perfecto y el precio comparado con el resto de la isla es bastante razonable. Solo a tener en cuenta que el alojamiento está en el otro extremo de la Marina grande y tienes que ir en bus, o pagar taxis que suelen ser caros. El alojamiento también ofrece transporte gratuito desde Anacapri que se agradece
