Generally nice room, nice staff, some selfish behaviours by other residents in their use of laundry facilities.
Pros:

Nice reception area. Friendly staff. Room is a little larger than average. Comfortable bed. 7 mins to station, 10 to bus stop into central Kyoto area. Toilet separate from shower/bathroom.

Laundry room and shared public onsen on top floor.

Cons:

Toilet has a little sunk over the cistern, but no soap is provided and just a little face flannel to dry hands. You have the move soap and hand towel from shower room to the toilet if you’re used to more western style facilities.

Our room faced onto the car park in which there were large bright lights all night. Meant it came through into our room so difficult to sleep if you like it dark in the bedroom.

The laundry room gets a bit mad at times. The washing machine can take a decent load and complete within the hour. But the driers only take half that load it a time, and can take 1.5 hours to dry. So 3 hours of drying required for 1 largish load of washing. Our first night was fine. However the 3rd night was manic - selfish people took our half dried washing out of the dryer to put their own in leaving ours to
Remain damp and warm and start smelling. People were still trying to access dryers at 1am in the morning. In the end we took our damp washing to our room and hung it as best we
could in hangers in the bath and shower room and across furniture in the bedroom because we were checking out early the next morning.

Pros:

Un hôtel incroyable, le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et disponible, tout était très propre, les lits étaient confortables. L'hôtel est situé à quelques minutes à pieds de la gare de Kyoto. Il y a des bains chauds au dernier étage (un dehors sur la terrasse, un en intérieur) et des machines à laver sont à disposition (vous pouvez acheter un sachet de lessive pour 50¥ (environ 30ct d'euros).

Pros:

Very clean and comfortable hotel located near Kyoto station. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The staff was also very professional and helpful.. The breakfast was also amazing offering a great selection of local and international cuisine. Highly recommended!

Harikaydı. Yine aynı otelde konaklarım.
Pros:

Japonya'da genelde otel odaları çok küçük bu otelin odası gayet genişti. Odlara çok temizdi. Kahvaltıda bize uygun yiyecekler vardı. Her yer gayet temizdi. Odalar sessizdi.

Pros:

Proche de la gare donc c’était très facile de se déplacer vers les différentes zones touristiques dans Kyoto et loin de Kyoto.
La chambre était confortable, équipée d’une clim et d’un déshumidificateur. Possibilité de laver son linge.

Záruka spokojenosti
Pros:

V ALA Hotelu nocujeme opakovaně. Vždy jsme spokojení s příznivou polohou blízko hlavnímu nádraží, přímo naproti večerky (konbini), útulným a prostorným designem v tradičním stylu, skvělým "ofuro" v horním podlaží aj. Tentokrát jsem poprvé okusil i místní snídaní a byla jedna z nejlepších, co jsem v Japonsku na hotelích zkusil. Vynikající rovnováha mezi tradičním japonským, tradičním kjótským a západním stylem. To, jakým způsobem je servírován med (v plástvech), je unikátní. Při příští příležitosti zase využijeme.

Cons:

Systém kupování pracího prostředku na recepci, mi přijde nepohodlný. Také je škoda, že přímo před hotelem není přechod, takže přecházení silnice může být někdy trochu nepohodlné (až nebezpečné).
