Beautifully designed facility with amazing staff and superior comfort!
Pros:

The building itself is really beautiful and obviously designed with great attention to detail. From the check-in, where we got to sit in our own private booth, to the bar, to the rooms everything was gorgeous and lots of care was given to our comfort and making our stay easy and enjoyable. The food for breakfast and dinner was excellent as well. The rooms were amazing - spacious, comfortable and top-notch design.

Cons:

Our biggest disappointment was with our private onsen, which was one of the main reasons we booked this stay. In the photos it looks like it's in the middle of a bamboo forest/nature area and I was looking forward to the peaceful relaxation of sitting in the onsen and listening to the birds, wind, etc. It turned out that our room was right next to a busy road with trucks and other loud vehicles, and though there were a few rows of bamboo trees planted to add to the scenery/privacy, it didn't cut the road noise out which was quite noisy pretty much all day, and calmed down a bit in the evening.

The only other thing we found a bit odd was the dining experience where the two of us ate alone in a private room for every meal. It was peaceful, but we also enjoy the energy of dining out in a restaurant atmosphere.
