1階のお部屋はおススメしません
Pros:

とにかく、駅から近い

Cons:

1階のお部屋はおススメしません。入り口の階にあるため、入ってくる人たちの話し声がうるさく、また、電子レンジもあるため、夜中に使用する方がいて、とにかく、うるさい。
また、お部屋は清掃がきちんとされていなく、汚かった。

El Shinjuku Global Hotel, punto de partida perfecto para descubrir Japón: cómodo y bien ubicado.
Pros:

El Shinjuku Global Hotel superó ampliamente nuestras expectativas. Fue nuestro primer alojamiento en nuestro primer viaje a Japón, y desde el primer momento nos sentimos muy cómodos. La ubicación es ideal: a tan solo 5 o 10 minutos caminando de la estación de tren, desde la cual podés llegar prácticamente a cualquier punto de la ciudad. Además, hay un Seven-Eleven a pocos minutos de camino, perfecto para abastecerse al llegar o al volver.
El check-in automático fue rápido y sin complicaciones; nosotros llegamos cerca de las 23 hs y el proceso fue sencillo. El departamento era bastante espacioso para los estándares japoneses: contaba con baño privado, heladera, espacio para colgar ropa, pantuflas, secador de pelo y cepillo de dientes.
Como contra, a veces se escucha pasar el tren y el departamento no tiene vista. Sin embargo, teniendo en cuenta que no pasábamos mucho tiempo en la habitación, esto no fue un inconveniente real. La comodidad para moverse por la ciudad fue perfecta. El barrio se sintió completamente seguro y animado en todo momento. Sin dudas, volveríamos.

Prime location for travel- troublesome check in
Pros:

The location of the hotel is really good for getting around Tokyo. Shin-Okubo station is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

The beds are pretty comfy and you can easily open 2 large suitcases in there. We did notice that the walls are quite thin but the train is close so this is expected. They also provided earplugs if this is bothersome but we didn't really notice it!

Cons:

The check in process is quite inefficient. The tablet is not very intuitive to use and there are no staff actually on site. Be prepared to re enter much of the details you entered before hand. It's also quite lengthy.

The hotel does allow you to ship luggage to them (which is not to this location but their partner hotel) but does not provide any services to ship luggage from the hotel.

Overall the hotel worked as a simple location to return to at night but the small inconveniences added up. We hold nothing against the staff who worked hard! We likely wouldn't return to this location.
