Jungle Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Jungle Paradise. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire stay, especially with our three children.

They prepared breakfast for us to take with us for our early safari, and after the safari we were able to return to our room before checking out, which was very convenient with the kids. They helped us with everything we needed and truly made us feel at home.

If we return to Sri Lanka, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Chathura the host is the must he helps you with everything he was so nice with me and my family.
The bedroom with 2 rooms and balcony was amazing !
The swimming pool perfect fresh in the day hot in the evening !
The food was also good we have a great time .
My son forgot his watch Lacoste and Chathura help me to have it back in another hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly, they provided wonderful food and organised the safari for us.

The rooms were large and mostly the staff was amazing! Beds all had mosquito nets and they were very diligent about helping us not be overrun by bugs- the hotel is in the jungle! The property provided citronella spray and were very helpful. My children enjoyed the pool. The safari arranged through the property was great! Dinner was okay, but it wasn't worth trying to find a different place. They packed breakfast for us to take on safari- egg sandwiches were okay, but the provided fruit and juices were a great addition. Another review indicated one night is enough and we appreciated that. Not much to do outside safari. One day is enough :)

Wir wurden bereits sehr freundlich & herzlich empfangen! Das appartement war schön & hatte genug Platz! Das Essen war sehr lecker & hat sogar unseren Kindetn geschmeckt!
Am zweiten Tag haben wir die Halbtagessafari mit Lasa gebucht! Das war ein richtiges Highlight! Lasa hat sehr viel Erfahrung & wir sahen viele kleinere Tiere & dann eben eine ganze Familie mit Elefanten & ihren Kleinen! Wir hatten schön Zeit sie in Ruhe zu beobachten! Einfach toll! Danach der Teestop am See war einfach schön & unglaublich friedlich!
Wir können es nur empfehlen!
Auxh das tolle Frühstück am zweiten Morgen auf unserer Terrasse war so unglaublich lecker!

Lovely and welcoming staff made us feel right at home, friendly pets, beautiful jungle setting, close to Udawalawe for safari.

Ich habe nichts an der Unterkunft auszusetzen. Das Hotel hat die perfekte Lage, wenn man einen Tagesausflug zum Udawalawe Park machen und danach entspannt die Seele am Pool baumeln lassen möchte. Die angebotene Safaritour mit dem Fahrer Lasa kann ich ebenfalls nur empfehlen.
Das Personal vor Ort ist immer höflich, hilfsbereit und mehr als engagiert. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Chathura, von der Rezeption. Man konnte ihn wirklich immer um Hilfe bitten oder um Tipps rundum die Umgebung. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

We stayed at Jungle Paradise for 2 nights (2 adults and 2 children). The resort is very nice and clean, and the large pool was perfect. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. The food was also very good. We booked a half-day morning safari right there and were absolutely thrilled. We saw lots of elephants with their babies, monkeys, crocodiles, water buffalo, and turtles.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Udawalawe national park. Spacious rooms, lovely pool, and the nicest staff we have met during our time in Sri Lanka. Easy to get to from the east and south coasts, nice restaurant (too far to eat elsewhere ) and good WiFi. A special mention to Lasa, who is their in-house safari guide, who took us on a private safari to the park in his jeep. He has many years experience and knows the park as well as one could. We saw all expected animals on our half day safari, and we encountered many vehicles who didn’t manage to see any elephants! Very fair price and overall amazing experience.

We stayed at Jungle Paradise for 2 nights. The rooms were very spacious, clean and well maintained. Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We did a half day safari with Lasa who works for the hotel providing private safaris for guests. His knowledge was amazing and he answered every question in detail. He was very attentive and welcoming did not feel rushed. He made sure we felt safe during our time in the safari.

Large clean rooms, great location and incredible staff. They were all very welcoming and helpful, they made all the difference and would recommend this property to anyone mainly because of them

Un endroit idéal pour les safari tôt le matin, il est situé au calme avec une piscine très apprécié pour un moment détente. Une grande chambre et une belle grand salle de bain idéal pour un séjour avec des enfants. Je recommande cette endroit.
