A relaxing garden feel to the whole venue. Breakfast was relaxing and staff very attentive. Location was excellent 3 minutes walk to the centre of town and lake yet tranquility in the hotel gardens.
Nothing to complain about. Its handy to check out your parking spot before you drive to it. There is plenty of temporary parking at reception.
It was really close to the centre and it was quiet. The staff make this place special. Melinda on the desk was particularly helpful and the young man at breakfast was very smiley and welcoming.
The room was a good size and had everything we needed. Fab shower and lovely hot water.
The breakfast was really excellent. There was everything you could have wanted.
We would have liked a thicker duvet as it was a bit chilly in the Lake District. Usually warmer in May! Yes it is of its time and not very modern however everything else made up for that.
Nothing
The proximity to the centre of bowness and the room was very modern and clean
It was a bit cold the first afternoon and the thermostats had been taken off the radiators so we couldn't turn them up. The price of drinks in the bar was extortionate
The breakfast room was light, tables not too close together, staff very efficient overall no complaints
Location, very quiet, beautiful gardens, comfy bed and pillows, and exceptional friendly staff.
I liked it all
The location is perfect 5-10 mins walk to the shops Bars water frount the room was so nice plenty of room very clean the bed was so comfy the breakfast was very nice really good choice staff were very pleasant and very helpful i would definitely stay here again
Lovely property rooms were very clean and cosy fantastic breakfast and lovely bar and seating area! Gardens were gorgeous
Loved our unit space and balcony
The toilet mount needs fixing.
Lovely staff, room and breakfast
Noisy on second night maybe sound proofing
What helped this place really stand out for us were the front of house staff. We largely dealt with James who was always wearing a smile, super helpful and accommodating both early hours and late evenings. Secondly was the location (five minutes from the promenade) and the gardens which were beautiful and well kept!
There wasn't anything we did not like particularly but if we were to say what could be improved, it would likely be the accomodation which while clean in the whole but a little dated, the insides of the curtains were starting to gather damp and mildew. The car parking was a little confusing with parking numbers not corresponding to the number of our rooms too but again, this had no impact on our stay at all and we were directed by staff where to park.
