Albergo for Hiking (Passo Rolle)
Pros:

Excellent location. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Modern facilities and hotel to a high specification.

Cons:

Food was not particularly good value. Expensive for what it was. However, the pasta was great.

Great Dolomite lodge even in the off season with beautiful views.
Pros:

We went there off season for a wedding and EVERYTHING was great! The VIEW is unbelievable.

Cons:

Most of the stores and restaurants were closed for the summer in San Martino di Castrozza. ALSO, Check bus schedules from Venice. They only run on weekends during the off season, requiring a car rental which we had not planned. It makes sense now that I realized it is a ski resort. It is still breathtaking.

Pros:

Staff professionale e molto cortese. La camera era bellissima, con un bagno enorme e un bel balconcino con sedie e tavolino. Ogni cosa è curata nel dettaglio. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo lo zaino per escursione lasciato in camera a disposizione degli ospiti, idea semplice ma davvero utile e gentile. Letto molto comodo.

Wonderful family ski holiday in a beautiful hotel with excellent staff!
Pros:

The staff at Albergo Vezzana were fabulous. So welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The rooms and whole hotel were very clean. We were lucky to have one of the newer rooms which are beautiful with gorgeous modern bathrooms and lovely glass balconies. Our children’s room was older and more tired but still perfectly nice. The ski in and ski out facility and use of the boot room with heated boot warmers was great. The food at breakfast and dinner was fabulous, and our combined restaurant and bar bill felt very reasonable. We cannot thank the hotel enough for a wonderful family holiday.

Great place to start Pale di San Martino hike.
Pros:

Literally the perfect starting point to hike the Pale di San Martino traverse. The shower was perfect temperature, the staff was friendly and helpful. View of the mountains from the balcony was fab. We only spent one night and didn't use any services so cannot say anything about that. The bed was comfortable and the atmosphere in the hotel was good.

Cons:

Nothing.
