Hotel Martinshof - My Favorite Destination
Pros:

My family and I have only visited Hotel Martinshof in the summer, but we have done so 4 times in the last 12 years. The area itself provides welcome relief from the summer heat with beautiful scenery and wonderful hikes. However, the real draw is Hotel Martinshof itself. The ownership is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. But, it is the food (breakfast/dinner) that makes Hotel Martinshof standout. For breakfast there are many self-service options to suit various appetites. The dinner begins with a self-service salad/appetizer selection that varies slightly on a daily basis. One is tempted to try a little of everything but one must pace themselves. This is followed by a served pasta course, main course and dessert which highlight the abundant and artistic skills of the chef. The food alone makes a stay here an incredible value, and is one of the biggest draws for my family. My only wish is that it wasn’t 4,000 miles away.

Pros:

Struttura molto bella ristrutturata di recente in modo molto intelligente. Pasti e cibo in quantità e qualità. Direzione e staff disponibile e gentile. Unico neo ho notato la presenza di molti turisti con i loro cani (molto educati) che però non possono trovarsi in sala da pranzo.

Cons:

Nulla tranne gli animali anche di grossa taglia che non si sa dove alloggiano e la presenza di persone in costume adamitico nell'area wellness.

Pros:

We vacationed in the summer. A delightful place in the Aurun Valley. Very modern hotel, spacious rooms with fashionable design. Very friendly staff. A quiet place for nature lovers. There are many waterfalls and different types of activities around. Excellent food. We'll be happy to come back here.

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful setting!
Pros:

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have always enjoyed our visit. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms are well furnished and spacious and have wonderful mountain views. The food is excellent. The breakfasts are huge with a vast choice of both sweet and savoury foods and beverages. The dinner is always of the highest quality and, on the rare occasion one does not like the proposed menu, the Chef is always happy to prepare alternatives. In addition, the spa is an excellent way of unwinding after a day's walk and there is ample parking, much underground.
We cannot recommend this hotel more highly! We will visit again next year and look forward to renewing our acquantance with Giovanni, his family and staff!
