Pros:

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting the stupa’s of anuradhapura. The hotel is located near the most important sights. It’s just a few min drive. It is quitely located outside the city center
The hotel does have charm. It is located next to a paddy field and has a nice and refreshing swimming pool. The breakfast is good. The rooms are alright with good airco.

Cons:

The room could have been cleaner. Bathroom wasn’t very clean and could use some renovation.

Excellent.
Pros:

The hotel was comfortable and the pool was very nice. The food (both breakfast and dinner) that was served was very good. We also very much appreciated the brilliant and friendly tuk-tuk driver (Sampath) who the hotel put us in contact with for our sightseeing. We used his services every day we were there (3 days) including a long trip out to Ritigala. If you stay in this hotel be sure to use him for your various explorations

Hyggelig sted i grønne omgivelser
Pros:

Et hyggeligt og roligt sted omgivet af smuk natur. Vi lejede cykler og tog en tur rundt om søen på cirka 15 km, hvilket var en fantastisk oplevelse. Undervejs så vi egern, køer og aber, og vi fik også hyggelige snakke med de lokale, som gjorde turen endnu mere særlig.

Vi spiste aftensmad på stedet to aftener, og maden var virkelig lækker.
De hjalp med booking af safaritur til wilpattu og transport til Negombo.

Det var et hyggeligt ophold, som vi varmt kan anbefale hvis man er til ro og natur.

Cons:

Vi havde ikke noget, vi var utilfredse med, men vi vil anbefale, at der bliver sat en klokke op ved receptionen. Det var ikke altid nemt at få kontakt med personalet, når der ikke var nogen til stede.

Moments agréables
Pros:

Notre arrivée dans l hôtel était parfaite. La chambre était grand avec des lits King site. Le capitaine des lieux est un excellent cuisinier, nous avons eu des magnifiques petits déjeuners et le repas du soir était succulent. Si vous etes sensibles aux epices ils vous conseilleront les plats proposes.le personnel est très attentionné. Nous avons été au monastère le matin et l après midi nous avons profité de la piscine. Nous recommandons cet hotel.

Cons:

Pas de gêne particulière. Si il y a un problème il suffit de parler au personnel ils sont très attentionnés.

Excellent food and beautiful surroundings
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at the Monaara Leisure Hotel.
The hotel is beautifully located, and the pool offers a wonderful view of the surrounding rice fields. The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked reliably.
We would especially like to highlight the breakfast and dinner. Every day there was a different buffet with varied, very good Sri Lankan cuisine. The food was fresh, flavorful, and also suitable for guests who do not like their meals too spicy.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend the hotel.

Sehr schön, gerne wieder!
Pros:

1. Lage - einfach schön
2. Personal - sie waren immer da und sehr hilfsbereit, aber auch diskret
3. Abendessen - lokales, scharfes Essen. Uns Erwachsenen hat es sehr geschmeckt

Cons:

Frühstück für Kinder hat uns gefehlt, an zwei von drei Tagen gab es nur ein lokales Frühstück, aber es gab nie ein Problem ein Omlett extra für uns zu bekommen. Personal war sehr hilfreich.
Zum Abendbrot gab es nur scharfes essen, leider nichts mehr als Reis für Kinder. Am nächsten Tag ist Personal unseren Wunsch angegangen, es es gab auch kinderfreundliches Essen.
Immer fragen, wenn es mehr lokale Turisten gibt als ausländische wird das Essen entsprechend scharf und sehr lokal zum Frühstück und Abendbrot serviert.

Het was een zeer leuke ervaring, mooi gelegen en nette kamers en een fijn zwembad.
Pros:

Zeer mooie omgeving met een goed zwembad. De kamers waren zeer mooi en netjes. Zeer goede ontvangst.

Cons:

We missen er een dame die oog heeft voor bv het ontbijt. De mannen deden zeker hun best maar een beetje meer zorg voor presentatie maakt het helemaal af.

Ojo con los precios
Pros:

Estar en medio de los arrozales.

Cons:

Muchos mosquitos. Existe un problema de organización en el hotel. Nos pusieron en una habitación y al día siguiente nos cambiaron porque no era la correcta. Al no poder ver en booking el precio en rupias hacen el cambio que les da la gana, para los europeos el peor. Además nos ofrecieron la cena, con un precio excesivo, todo incluido y cuando vamos a pagar las bebidas no estaban incluidas y las pusieron al precio que quisieron. No había información en ningún sitio.
