There was nothing to dislike.

1st day I have booked an Economy room and wanted to extend it for another day with a diff room. what I booked was a family room with two bed. but my client prefer to go for a Deluxe room which is at 9950Lkr. but this guys asked me to not to book with Booking.com just pay them the amount direct. and I did the transfer. when it comes to the day that my client has to check out, they have asked my client to check out by 10am which is not acceptable. it's showing here clearly check out time is at 12pm. and then they have told to my clients, if the client is going to stay until 12pm we have to pay additional 6k? what type of business is that? then they are saying that booking was not under booking.com.

you asked me to pay direct to your account and not to book with booking.com. and then now you are telling my clients if the clients are going to stay until 12pm they will have to pay additional 6k? just for 2hours? what do you think; guests are stupid as you think?

finally my clients are out by 10:30am. this is very rude and very disappointing. I would never ever recommend this property to any of my clients again!

Not worth the money, poor service. ACs not working properly.
No hot water, no tea arrangements.

We arrived to the reception area, the guy at the reception didn't speak english only some words here and there. He insisted we pay first and then go to the room. The only possible payment possibility was in cash, so we left the place, went to the atm and come back. After paying we went into the room and found trash in drawers and the room was smelly so we asked to changed the room. We changed to a bigger room, which looked more decent, the smell was still present but not so intense. The sheets were crumpled, there were stains all over the place and the reception guy told us he can only give us one water bottle for free even though there were 2 of us. We were in the room for some time, in between the reception guy kept on coming and bothering us with some things which he was not able to articulate in english. We were ready to go to sleep when the first cockroach crawled out. Then another. Then another and then another. We killed 3 cockroaches, 1 got away and climbed under the bed. We called for the reception guy and showed him the dead cockroaches and that we would like a refund and that we will not stay in this place. He came and removed cockroaches but didn't want to give back the money. We asked him to call the owner. The owner was rude from the start, we explained the situation and requested refund and he just said that cockroaches and mosquitos are a normal thing in Sri Lanka and that he will not return the money. We said that we understand it happens but if you have cockroach infestation in a room is something else. We insisted on refund, which he didn't want to give and we said we will call the police, that this is a scam and he said he is not afraid of police and he doesn't care. He also seemed intoxicated. He hung up on us. Then we asked the reception guy for at least a half refund. No one offered to change the room for us. Since it was midnight and we had to go early on the road we didn't had a different option then to stay in this...
