Super Unterkunft, wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit.
Pros:

Die Lage war super, ganz dicht am See und nah am Zentrum und an allem. Leckeres Essen in unmittelbarer Nähe, gutes Frühstück in der Unterkunft selbst (von allem ein bisschen- Continental und local).
Zimmer sehr sauber und ruhig (nur die Badezimmertür hat etwas gequietscht :)), bequem, komfortabel, sauber, einfach super!
Mein Kind, das vorher nicht so happy war, hat sich auch total wohl gefühlt.

Sehr gute Lage
Pros:

Kühlschrank im Zimmer, super Aussicht vom 4-Bett-Zimmer aus auf den See und den Zahntempel!
Sehr nettes und freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal!
Affen am Balkon waren lustig anzusehen!
Sehr gute Lage, 5 min zum Viewpoint über den See.
15-20 min zu Fuß zum Zahntempel.

Cons:

Leider war eine Kakerlake in der Dusche:-(

- Dichtbij Kandy Lake maar niet de drukte, geen last van verkeer

Bell’hotel a Kandy

L’hotel è situato sulle colline che si affacciano sul lago. Dal lungolago si può arrivare a piedi percorrendo una breve salita; in alternativa, in auto o in tuk tuk si raggiunge comodamente dall’alto.
L’hotel è di medie dimensioni e dispone di camere con vista sulla giungla oppure sul lago, entrambe caratterizzate da magnifiche vetrate. In particolare, la camera che mi è stata assegnata era grande e spaziosa, oltre 25 m², pulita e con una splendida vetrata affacciata sulla giungla. Era presente un piccolo televisore, purtroppo non funzionante, e un comodo frigorifero rifornito ogni giorno con nuove bottigliette d’acqua. In camera è presente l’aria condizionata. Il bagno era spazioso e dotato di un’ampia doccia.
La colazione è buona e comprende noodles, un paio di piatti tipici dello Sri Lanka, pancakes, banana bread e piccole omelette dolci. Il personale era gentile e disponibile. La zona è sicura e in meno di 10 minuti si raggiunge il centro di Kandy.

Cons:

È arichiesto il pagamento in contanti: le carte di credito non sono accettate.

Great location, close to city centre. Large comfortable room. The staff were lovely.

Nothing significant, just some of the lining on the glass doors were falling apart allowing bugs to get through. Nothing major

Nice hotel with good location
Pros:

Nice spacious family room. Good clean bathroom. Great view across the lake from the breakfast room. Our room didn’t have a lake view but we could watch lots of monkeys from it. Close to the centre but very quiet as above the road. There’s steps to cut down to the lake. Took about 10 minutes to get to the Main Street for restaurants and about 15 minutes stroll around the lake to temple of the sacred tooth.

Sólo pasamos una noche en este alojamiento. Sin grandes pretensiones, el hotel lo tenía todo: habitación de tamaño correcto, con nevera, baño con ducha cocina con mampara, cama muy cómoda (la más cómoda de todo el viaje), una buena climatización (el aire acondicionado no molestaba para dormir), habitación silenciosa y tranquila para poder descansar. El servicio siempre muy atento y dispuesto a ayudar. El desayuno variado y de bufet, me encantó. Las vistas del templo y el lago en el comedor son muy bonitas.

Cons:

Si vuelvo a SriLanka, cogería la habitación con vistas al lago... No hay mucha diferencia económica y creo que merece la pena.

De locatie, iets verder van het hotel is een mooi view point om naar het meer van kandy te kijken. Verder zijn de medewerkers zeer vriendelijk.

Cons:

De kamer was niet zo netjes, er hing een niet zo prettig geurtje in de badkamer en de lakens voelden wat klam aan.

Pros:

The family room was very large and comfortable with good view of the lake
Location is good close to the center of Kandy
The breakfast was delicious
And staff were very helpful and they gave a present during check out

Cons:

The family room don't have elevator only stairs the staff told us before coming so it wasn't a big problem for us
But it can be a bit tiring
