We had a really great stay here! The hostel has good facilities and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay!

J’ai particulièrement apprécié les personnes qui tiennent le logement, avec qui j’ai aussi eu la chance de surfer. Ils sont professeurs de surf et ont vraiment été adorables du début à la fin.
Si vous cherchez un endroit où séjourner, proche de la mer, avec la possibilité de surfer et surtout entouré de personnes bienveillantes, foncez ! Je recommande vraiment cet endroit, ils sont incroyables. 🏄♀️🌴

Lagoon and beach view Perfect location to explore the delights of Arugam bay
Great location for a single , Couple and family, slightly away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely gent looked after us, nothing trouble here also very safety place. Rooms were clean and large, beds comfortable. Shared kitchen was really useful for breakfast utensils. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely friendly hotel by the beach. They can arrange surf lessons with their brilliant team, nothing is too much trouble. All the staff were so kind and welcoming, and attended to any issues straight away. I’d definitely recommend and love to stay there again. Location is perfect right in the middle of all the restaurants, cafes, shops of Aragam Bay but set back down a road so still feels quiet. Highly recommend
Surf class
We were disappointed with the staff, whose behavior was inappropriate—they even woke us up in the middle of the night to demand payment. Their attitude toward our group of girls was also out of line. The rooms were dirty, with hairs on the sheets, and the bathroom was in poor condition. As for breakfast, it was meager (no drinks included), and we had to wait over an hour for it. However, it is worth noting that the surfing lesson was great.

Nous souhaitons signaler cet établissement car c’est de la publicité mensongère et de l’arnaque. Les tarifs sont exorbitants alors que l’on se base sur des photos qui sont fausses. Les commentaires pour cet établissement sont totalement faux et construits pas le propriétaire.
De plus les commentaires concernent surtout les cours de surf, en sachant que de l’autre côté d’Arugam Bay vous avez des dizaines de loueurs de planches et de cours de surfs qui sont supers et très peut chers
C’est inadmissible d’arnaquer les gens à ce point. Nous avons fait le tour du Sri Lanka et jamais nous n’avons vécu une telle arnaque.
La chambre est sale, des restes de savon collés et séchés , des gobelets sales, les robinetteries sont cassées et fuits de partout, la moustiquaire est trouée, il n’y a rien de ce qui est décrit sur le site de booking. . Une seule prise a l’autre bout de la chambre, pas de drap, pas d’eau chaude.
Lorsque vous arrivez , on vous fait payer la totalité du séjour lors du Check in. Du jamais vu.
Mais cela permet au propriétaire de vous rembourser ce qu’il veut quand vous souhaiter repartir .
Nous avons donc annulé notre 2 ieme nuit car nous n’avions pas pu partir la première car nous sommes arrivé à 21h30 et le propriétaire n’était pas là. C’est un employé qui nous a fait payer et est parti de suite
De plus il annule souvent votre nuit si vous souhaitez partir pour éviter que vous puissiez commenter.
Il réponds aux mauvais commentaires en disant que se sont des comptes fake ce qui est totalement faux.
Il y a tellement de supers logements à Arugam bay qui sont supers et très peu chers.
Ne vous faites surtout pas avoir par cet escrocs qu’à priori tout le monde connaît sur place.

I did not check in. although I booked my stay and clearly stated that I have my pet with me, when I reached the person in charge told me that they are not accepting pet and it was a mistake that they accepted my booking. I asked if they can help me find another accommodation because it is a high season and now my booking is gone, they simply said they can’t help because of the high season. Then simply asked me to cancel my booking. Also I must mention that when I reach the premises majority of the place was undergoing renovation, an important fact like this was not mentioned in booking.com. I find this to be not honest from the property owner, knowing that people will not have many options once they reach there because of the high season. So if they did not reject my pet I would have no choice expect to check in. I had to looking for another accommodation in the heat of midday until I successfully find another place.

I was really like this surf camp. Very comfortable and clean room . Nice bed and new Aircon it’s working properly. staff and owner Ansa always helping mind. Breakfast was very delicious also professional surf teacher. I highly recommend this surf camp in Arugambay.
I was only supposed to stay a nights, The hotel is located in a quiet area, close to the beach, and each room also has a small table and chairs outside, allowing you to enjoy the tranquility of the garden. It was wonderful to have breakfast there every morning. The owners are welcoming and helpful. There was always a smile. I will definitely return as soon as I return to Arugam Bay. thanxs to Ansa
The accommodation is clean, modern, and very well maintained. The service is excellent, and the staff are extremely friendly, always willing to help with anything you need. The property near to the beach, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. As for the food, there is a wide variety of options and everything is delicious. Overall, nothing but praise for this place. Will definitely come back again 🫶
