Pros:

The location was good, we had a late check-in and the staff was very accommodating. He was very hospitable and service was always with a smile.
Rooms were of a decent size and clean.
The breakfast was delicious, we ordered the sandwiches and omelette. It was all halal.

Cons:

The AC was not cooling, had a bit of an uncomfortable night's sleep.
The reception always smells of curry, might be off putting to some guests. Not to complain but other guests should be aware.
There is a food mall adjoining the hotel, with good lunch and dinner options.
Extremely affordable stay.

Pros:

Staff's behaviour and friendly ness. And the ironing facility.

Cons:

There are no green areas as per the photos. Trees are cut down. And the access to the rooms is not easy while going to the reception. The door out from the reception and the door entering the rooms area is like obstacles. Also most of the days in one room late at night someone plays music with a high level of sound. No one eventually cares, staff's as well.

Great hotel with excellent breakfast and location
Pros:

We were looking for a hotel close to our relatives in Mount Lavinia, close to the Galle Road, and this property was the only one that fit our needs in terms of costs, facilities, breakfast, and value. The staff went out of their way to help us settle in. Dusyanthan, Prageeth, and Thulani served us very well. It has a 24-hour front desk, so it is particularly great for people coming on late flights into Colombo. The breakfast was delicious. The Fusion Food Court, with a lot of food options, is next door, which is convenient as well. We stayed on two non-consecutive days since we had to visit places outside of Colombo and come back before the flight.

Cons:

We had to ask the front desk for the iron. And the room size, while standard for Sri Lanka, is a bit smaller than we have been used to in North America.
