The Hotel Oginski is perfect in every way. The fantastic location by the river and park, the friendliness and profesionalim of the team, the room with a view, the breakfast and most especially the brilliant food.
I don't know about a Michelin key but it should definitely be looked at for a bib. I've been to many that have been part of this group and the Flow restaurant stands out. The menu is surprisingly inventive for a location that I would classify as internationally not that well visited. With the dishes labelled by their inspiration or produce, Lithuanian, New Zealand, Japan, Norway..., the menu reads like a top call city restaurant. 'Flow' could of course have had pretentions above it's station but the chef that night (sous chef Lucia) delivered in spades. Maybe the tomahawk chop was too safely cooked but the langousine bisque was outstanding. The desert which was a selection of beautiful sweet bites was one of the nicest I've had in a restaurant of its standard in a long time.
In terms of the room, I slept fantastically on a high quality mattress. There was good WiFi, good heating or air-conditioning options and the bathroom was excellent with good products and towels.
I think I paid about €90 for a superior room with view and breakfast included. This represents unbelievable value.
This area of Lithuania is stunning with the nearby Lakes and forests. If you plan to visit then this has to be the hotel to stay at.

Excellent hotel and staff. Very good breakfast. Situated next to a beautiful park. Definitely recommend.
Puikus viešbutis šalia Oginskio parko. Geru oru yra kur pasivaikščioti. Viešbutyje - viskas, ko reikia. Skanūs, prabangūs pusryčiai. Džiaugiuosi radus ir lašišos, ir makaroons'ų, ir marinuotų alyvuogių bei graikiškų salotų! Personalas- paslaugus, malonus, neįkyrus. Registratūroje dirbančiai moteriai kuo geriausi atsiliepimai!
Rekomenduojame apsistoti. O jei dar būtų įrengtas mini spa- tai ir prastesniu oru sulauktumėte lankyojų!
