We're staying at Casa Tortuga Azul for two nights. Two too many! There's no reception, only phone contact. So we call and they direct us to a room. This room is a dump. A window near the ceiling overlooks a black wall. The sink is in the room, and the bathroom has no toilet seat cover nor a shower curtain. It is dirty with some long, black hair on the files (my hair is short and blond). We booked two beds, but only one has the bedsheets. Towels are worn out and have holes. The room is awful. It stinks here. We contact the owner/manager/receptionist at Whatsapp and try to get that basic equipment. After one day the toilet seat is installed, however, it doesn't suit the toilet much and is loose. We never get the curtain. And it smells in the room the entire stay.
The location is very good but in the hostel there is no common space where one can sit and relax, just the stinky room.
On the whole, the problem is there's nobody to talk to.

La atención de la chica Alondra y todo muy bien explicado, la señal wifi de lo mejor, tiene buena cobertura y mega rápida, la verdad me volveré a hospedar a mi regreso a Palenque

Cons:

Sólo que cuando se acaba el papel higiénico no hay personal de lo demás está excelente para pasar la noche, no hay ruidos extraños ni nada

Excelente ubicación, precios muy accesibles
Pros:

Tiene excelente ubicación, mucha seguridad y está cerca de restaurantes. Puedes encontrar desayunos, comida y cena a unos pasos del lugar :) para el precio me pareció bastante aceptable

Cons:

Solo poner un poco de atención a la humedad de las habitaciones

Pros:

It's a budget hotel and doesn't claim to be anything else. It would be dishonest to rate it poorly because it was worth what I paid. Look at the price and then think in your head what you probably expect to find for that price, and you'll most likely be correct.

Cheap but low quality
Pros:

It was cheap and you got your own room. The aircon was strong too. Good location from the ADO bus stop

Cons:

The aircon was very loud, the room didn’t really have much functionality, i.e. hooks, places for bags. The bathroom was not very clean, and had no hand soap. The bed was very springy and lumpy

Hostal economico, limpio, seguro y muy central. No tiene cocina
Pros:

Hostal que esta bastante limpio y queda en una zona muy bonita de Palenque. Supermercados muy cerca e instalaciones que estan bastante bien. La verdad para lo que se paga en este hostal me parece muy bueno.
