A beautiful hotel in a beautiful town.
Pros:

- the rooms/apartments and facilities are scattered about the Perast which is really lovely
- the breakfasts are great, lots of choice for kids too, and Prosecco included
- the restaurant is epic. You must book well in advance as it is one of the most popular restaurants in Perast
- the staff were so lovely and helpful, especially the Manager Vikas. They could not do enough for us, helping book trips and giving us lifts to the pool in the golf cart
- location is fab for exploring Montenegro. We went to Kotor, Blue Caves, Submarine Tunnels, Mosaics at Risan and Lady of the Rock

Cons:

We liked everything but here are some tips:
- Perast is developing as a tourist resort so don’t expect lots of shops or for everything to be like Europe.
- The rooms are scattered about in several ancient buildings, not all in the main hotel. Make sure you check which room you’ve booked on their website so you are not surprised if there are lots of steps or your room is not close to the pool
- Perast is on the side of a mountain, there are steps to get everywhere. Be prepared and have trainers with you and take your time as it is hot!
- ask the hotel for trip recommendations. They organised our private boat tour to all the sites, and they have their own boat shuttle service to The Lady of the Rock
- make use of the gold buggy, the staff are happy to run you about if your room is not in the main hotel
- if you are hiring a car, prepare yourself. The coastal road is beautiful but stressful as its narrow and packed with tour busses
- if your going to any of the sites (such as Blue Caves) go early. Vikas suggested we go at 8.30am and it was perfect. We swam in the caves and it was nice and quiet. By 10am boats are queuing up.
- bring cash with you for ships and tips.
- it isn’t cheap in Perast, restaurants and wine are pricey.
- try the traditional Montengran cake!

Pros:

Absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish! This was by far one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Everything was simply perfect — from the beautiful and spotless rooms to the incredible service and warmest hospitality.

The staff were the friendliest, most professional, and most attentive I have ever encountered. They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The hotel itself was absolutely stunning, with the most beautiful atmosphere and fantastic facilities. The room was immaculate, incredibly comfortable, and beautifully designed. The food was delicious, with an amazing variety and the highest quality.

The location could not have been better, and every little detail was taken care of perfectly. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience.

Without a doubt, this is one of the most wonderful hotels I have ever stayed at, and I would recommend it to absolutely everyone. I cannot wait to come back!

Perfect
Pros:

Parking is outside Perast, we arrived at the gate and straight away were guided as to where to park, the buggy arrived very quickly and took us to the hotel.

Fab location with dining on the sea front

Acknowledged my Daughter's 30th with a surprise, thank you

Fabulous. A must see destination and one we will recommend to friends
Pros:

Fantastic location, very clean, brilliant staff

Cons:

The apartment wasn’t quite as finished as we would have expected for the price per night that we paid. There was no bedside table on one side of the bed, and no bedside lamps at all. There were also some shutters missing/no blackout curtains in the lounge area where our kids slept on the sofa bed so it was light in that room very early.

A lovely apartment but a few finishing touches needed.

The lock also needs changing as it’s really fiddly. I couldn’t open it at all and was concerned about what would have happened in an emergency e.g fire

Échappée magique à Perast !
Pros:

Très bon accueil : on vient vous chercher au parking en voiturette, le parking étant payant pour toute personne entrant dans la ville
Le petit déjeuner en front de mer est une expérience extraordinaire qui compense le buffet assez moyen pour un hôtel de ce standing
La piscine et ses terrasses sont divines !
L’hôtel est extrêmement bien situé, on recommande !

Disappointing
Pros:

Great location and friendly staff.

Cons:

We recently stayed at this hotel after reading so many positive reviews, so we arrived with high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite live up to them.

Before our arrival, we had contacted the hotel to let them know our expected arrival time and were reassured that parking would be available at any time of the day, even if our room wasn’t ready yet. However, when we arrived in the morning, we waited around 30 minutes only to be told that the car park was already full. This was a frustrating start to our stay, particularly as we had relied on the information we’d been given.

The room itself had several issues. There was nowhere to hang bath towels, let alone beach towels, which made things quite inconvenient. We also found hair from previous guests in the bathroom drawers, which was disappointing from a cleanliness perspective. The air conditioning was noisy and not particularly effective, leaving the room feeling stuffy, especially at night. There were also a few maintenance issues, including exposed hanging cables and broken drawer handles.

Our room was located next to the storeroom, meaning food deliveries and supplies were often left in the corridor outside, which detracted from the overall atmosphere.

Breakfast was acceptable, but fairly average and not especially memorable.

Overall, we left feeling disappointed. We had been really looking forward to our stay because of the excellent reviews, but it didn’t meet our expectations. Given the price we paid, we don’t feel it offered good value for money, and we would recommend considering other accommodation options in Prestatyn.

Pros:

Everything at conte was perfect. We felt taken care of before even arriving - working with Vikas to book a boat tour and even getting a room upgrade. The golf cart pickup and drop off back to the outer gates was seamless and even little touch of having Prosecco while waiting for our room felt luxurious. The room was beautiful, the pool relaxing and the breakfast the perfect start to each day. Thank you to the conte for an amazing stay in Perast.

Misleading pictures, disappointing rooms and breakfast but one great porter called Filip
Pros:

We liked the location, and the Porter named Filip

Cons:

1) misleading advertising - watch out! The beach side loungers and chairs shown in the pictures actually belong to a beach club 200m down the road which you have to pay to use. These pictures should be removed. There are also pictures of different swimming pools when there is only one. Also it’s more of a campus hotel - we didn’t have stairs but lots of people had stairs. There is also no bar or relaxing area.
2) there rooms are hugely different - we booked two of the same but one was huge and one was tiny (smaller than premier inn, travellodge etc…)
3) the rooms were very damp and smelled really bad
4) the glass on the doors didn’t have blinds
5) food and drink quality at breakfast and dinner was really poor - the coffee was awful
