Beautiful, old Mexico hotel with stunning views from every room. Great snorkeling- enter water at hotel and keep swimming south. Hector in the office is amazing - every hotel needs a Hector. Good breakfasts. I would definitely return.
Food and drinks were a little pricey.
Excelente vista.
The room was comfortable with good a/c. The view was beautiful and the pool was nice with loungers and umbrellas available. Several good spots to eat within walking distance, most with live music. Snorkeling in front of the hotel is good but there is no beach so bring water shoes if you want to get down into the ocean to swim. Breakfast was okay. Would have liked a bit more variety. Overall a pleasant getaway on the slow end of the island.
The charge for snorkeling equipment that was almost unusable is really sad. The food and drinks at the hotel were a bit pricey. Would be nice if the little ocean front ocean access was cleaned up a bit. Lots of garbage from the non Hotel guests that come down and use that area to swim and party.

Very clean and unique. We really liked the older style decorations. It felt cozy and authentic. Beautiful views. Nice pool. Friendly staff who were very efficient. Our hotel room (#1) was a fun round shape, very spacious and had a wonderfully private balcony and view. We thoroughly enjoyed having our breakfast on the balcony each morning.
There are steep steps down to the pool. We arrived very late and weren’t able to get water from the cooler in the kitchen on our first night, so felt a little dehydrated. Good to bring water if you are getting in after 7pm.
This hotel is so ADORABLE!!! and the view was something else! the Staff are very helpful and kind.. will definitely stay again!
No complaints
The view from the room and our terrace were the highlight. We loved accessing the ocean from below the hotel and enjoyed swimming around. The shower by the pool was delightful and the pool was warm.
Unfortunately the hotel kayaks are no longer an option, and it didn’t seem like there was much to see if snorkeling (at least not close to the hotel). The bed sheets didn’t seem to fit the bed and were a little stained, but it wasn’t a big problem.
This was my favourite stay on the island. A beautiful boutique hotel bursting with old Mexican charm throughout with colourful walls, tiling and sculptures. Our bedroom was so cute and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. This was our last stop on a three week trip travelling around Mexico and it was the perfect place to unwind and reflect on our amazing time in Mexico. Plenty of really good restaurant options walking distance, pool area perfect to relax with a book. Access to dip in the clearest of water right in front of the hotel. Walking distance to Punta Sur for sunrise was a bonus.
I agree with some other reviews of the yachts turning up and parking right in front of the hotel at times was a nuisance. However it only bothered us one of the afternoons when a particularly obnoxiously loud boat arrived. It's a shame they have to pull up so close to the hotel when there is literally an entire sea behind them, they should be made to anchor a bit further out. However, after encountering dozens of obnoxiously loud yachts on the north beach, opposite end of the island competing for attention with their music, this was nothing in comparison and should not deter you from staying at this lovely hotel.
Most amazing place ever
Nothing.
Charming boutique hotel, only a couple of rooms and superb ocean view. Rooms are spacious with a beautiful terrace with hamac and chairs facing the ocean. Simple and great healthy breakfast — and very close to lots of restaurants and punta sur.
Food and drinks are a bit pricey
You have to pay 250$ to rent snorkeling material - in my opinion this should come for free or for a smaller fee, it’s a bit of a stretch to have to pay for that.
The property could work out the beach a little to make it more accessible and why not build a deck like the other hotels?
