The exclusivity without being pretentious. True relax.
Pros:

The breakfast included is very nice, tasty, and healthy! The choice in coffee and fresh squeezed juice is wonderful, too. Being able to be up off the sand to lounge was different for the area and what we had hoped for. Being only 6 rooms you really do get their complete attention and ALL staff are helpful and welcoming. There are some nice attention to details, like welcome drink included for anytime during your stay and package of cookies in your room. You have fresh towels for the cushioned beach loungers each day. The soaps are lovely, which I was able to purchase a set to take home. We traveled with friends and with our little pet dog. We do try to make sure to be very respectful with our animal so that these places will continue to allow and be welcoming, as this place was, with pets. While you are there you also get to learn the story of this hotels existence. It is a place that someone made happen and put heart into.

Cons:

It is a little pricy to stay here but at same time, it is only 6 rooms so it feels more exclusive and you do get great service. I would not change our decision to stay and thankful we splurged a little more so than we normally would for a beach stay in this area.

Pros:

La decoración y ambiente del lugar es muy agradable y tranquilo; excelente lugar para ver el atardecer, un espectáculo; el servicio fue increíble, te hacen sentir muy bien desde la llegada. El desayuno es excelente, te ofrecen la preparación de café que prefieras, desayuno balanceado, muy bien preparado y presentado.

Pros:

It’s beautiful. Right at the beach, great breakfast and very friendly staff!

Cons:

Nothing really. It was great. There is just some algae in front of the hotel but if you walk for 2 mins the beach is nice!

Porteremo sempre nel cuore questo soggiorno ! La posizione é perfetta e si gode di un tramonto favoloso . Inoltre svegliarsi al mattino e vedere subito il mare non ha prezzo . Colazione home made che varia ogni giorno , a base di frutta , uova , avocado ecc (disponibile la versione gluten free)
Vengono forniti teli mare , creme ecc
Possibilità di usare la piscina anche dopo il check out.
Host gentilissima e super disponibile (anche a prenotare ristoranti escursioni taxi ecc)

Everything. Staff were really lovely. Had a very relaxed feel, felt like staying in someone’s home but on the beach and fantastic rooms. Amazing attention to detail. Perfect location. Near by to everything you need. Book a room upstairs with a terrace if you can! View over the beach is v special

Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. The team were friendly and efficient. They were available to assist with any queries we had regarding the island facilities.

Cons:

It is hard to think of something we did not like at Casa Cat Ba. We did not like leaving I suppose.

Pros:

Suffering work burnout, I booked Casa Cat Ba last minute because it promised peace and quiet but still close to the action, and it delivered exactly that. I had the standalone bungalow room which had a super comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with luxurious bathroom products. The room also had a little living room which was helpful for taking zoom calls on a couple of the days I was there. I was travelling alone and imagine the extra space of the living room would be really great if you were travelling as a two. The sunbeds are not on the beach which didn’t bother me at all - you can walk to either Punta Mosqito or Punta Coco direction and there’s many beach club options (can recommend Cafe Del Mar and La Hamacha) and the beds at Casa Cat Bar are super comfortable to come back to and watch the sunset. The real charm of Casa Cat Ba is the staff - Ivette, Ernesto and Zuri really look after you in an unassuming way and with just a small number of rooms, you feel like you have visited someone’s home. Ivette is super responsive on WhatsApp and very helpful with any questions you have or bookings you need. The breakfast is excellent and different every day. It was definitely worth treating myself and I will certainly be back.
