Pros:

Posizione perfetta per visitare il lungomare e piscina molto bella. La camera era molto pulita, ma piuttosto datata e avrebbe bisogno di una completa ristrutturazione; abbiamo avuto anche qualche problema con l’aria condizionata. Nel complesso, considerando lo stato della camera, il rapporto qualità-prezzo potrebbe essere migliore.

Op loopafstand van strand en restaurants.
Pros:

Klein hotel met groot zwembad en op loopafstand van strand en vele restaurants. Ze regelden onze trips goed.
Wij hadden een mooie redelijk nieuwe badkamer, waar in andere beoordeling anders over wordt gesproken.
Tip: er zit een Italiaans restaurant om de hoek van het hotel, waar je pasta eet zoals in Italië!

Cons:

De kamer is krap met z'n vieren.
Geen ontbijt is niet perse een probleem, er zijn volop restaurantjes waar dit kan. Enige nadeel is dat het zoals altijd in dit land, lang duurt. Trek dus wat tijd uit voor het ontbijt.

Fantastisch
Pros:

Perfecte locatie, naast de hoofdweg, om de hoek van het strand.
Superaardige mensen, maar door de goede ligging ben je weinig in het hotel te vinden.
Ontbijt is overal gemakkelijk te krijgen.
Ook het zwembad was heerlijk, tussendoor even ontsnappen aan de warmte en de hete zon in het zwembad is een aanrader.

Pros:

Great small hotel on the main Uppavelli road, five minutes walk from the sandy shorefront and the beach bars and restaurants.  There's a lovely well maintained pool and tidy gardens.  We were in the family room on the third floor (no lift) set away from the road; lots of space and light, and a small bathroom. The hosts are super helpful - there's currently no on site restaurant but they provided us with tea making facilities, and there are lots of options for good breakfasts nearby.

From here we did a dolphin/whale tour with Trinco Eddie, and a Pigeon Island snorkeling trip with Kingfisher.  Both very good, though worth noting there were 40 other boats all trying to find whales and dolphins.  There were lots of dolphins to be seen.

It's a 10 minute tuk tuk into Trinco itself,  with the sprawling fort complex offering great views at Swami Rock and the Hindu temple perched on the end of the peninsula, as well as tame deer in the grounds.  And don't miss the amazing and spectacular interior of the Kali Hindu temple in the town.

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage
Pros:

Schöne Zimmer, bequeme Betten, sehr sauber alles. Der Staff war wirklich sehr freundlich und hat sich Mühe gegeben alles so schön wie möglich zu machen. Wir fanden die Lage sehr angenehm ein wenig außerhalb vom Trubel in Uppuvelli, aber trotzdem in 10 Min zu Fuß oder in 2 Min mit dem Roller oder Scooter erreichbar.

Cons:

Einzige negative Sache, die erwähnt werden sollte ist, dass die Bezahlung über booking vorher nicht möglich war und dann vor Ort nur in Bar akzeptiert wurde.

Fantastic week long stay for our family of 4, suited us perfectly
Pros:

Very comfortable room (family room) and bathroom, good air conditioning and fans, big fridge in the room, excellent pool, excellent location just 5 mins walk from lots of restaurants and 10 mins walk to the beach. 15 mins tuk tuk ride to the temple in Trincomalee. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Only a minor point and just for info for future guests. My husband and I were remote working for this week but the wifi was not strong enough to have video calls. It was good though for browsing, emails etc. not a negative on the property as I understand we can’t expect amazing connectivity, but info if anyone needs to work.

Pros:

5 minuten lopen naar het strand en leuke eettentjes. Heerlijk zwembad en goede wifi. We sliepen in het huis achterin en dan op de tweede verdieping. Het waaide best heftig, dus best wat lawaai snachts daardoor. Badkamer is aan vernieuwing toe, maar kamer prima in orde.

Cons:

Geen ontbijt.

Heel erg proper hotel, goede bedden met erg groot zwembad. Strand en vele restaurantjes op wandelafstand. Indien gewenst kan de eigenaar trips of vervoer regelen tegen correcte prijs.

Cons:

Airco in kamer 2 maakt redelijk veel lawaai.

Pros:

Perfecte locatie om naar het strand te gaan. Personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ruime kamer en badkamer met goeie douche.

Cons:

Ligt aan drukkere straat. Rook van ‘brandjes’ stinkt hard. Toilet maakt veel lawaai.
