A nice quiet hotel in which to relax.
Pros:

Located it what appears to be a quiet part of Aluksne right off P43 main road. Breakfast was good overall. It provided a good selection of healthy options from which to choose. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Ļoti gaumīga un pārdomāta viesnīca, kur tiešām padomāts par katru detaļu. Numuriņš bija elegants, tīrs un ļoti ērts — īpaši jāizceļ lieliskā gulta. Patīkams pārsteigums bija sagaidīšana ar vīna un ūdens pudeli.
Restorāns izcils — perfekts interjers, ļoti garšīgs ēdiens un lieliski kokteiļi. Brokastīs plaša izvēle, viss svaigs un pārdomāts, turklāt pat prosecco piedāvājumā.
Īpašu paldies vēlamies pateikt personālam — abas Annijas bija ļoti laipnas, atsaucīgas un pretimnākošas, radīja patiesi viesmīlīgu atmosfēru.

A brilliant gem in Alūksne
Pros:

Bahnhof is simply one of the most excellent places I've stayed. It is a treasure for not only Alūksne but Latvia to have such a wonderful place. Luxurious rooms that are stylish but still cozy and welcoming in a beautiful historic building. Annija who helped us with all the elements of our reservation and saw to our every need during our time at Bahnhof deserves special praise for her friendliness and professionality, but also just really ensuring that we had all we needed. The hotel restaurant is excellent and breakfast was abundant and great. Every member of our group wished we could have stayed longer. Alūksne is a wonderful town and Bahnhof is where you should stay when you visit!

Kolosāla viesnīca ar vēsturisku nozīmi un noformējumu. Atsaucīgs un laipns personāls. Ļoti labs restorāns ar labām cenām. Ideāla atrašanās vieta, netālu no centra. Ļoti viss patika. Noteikti tur atgrieztos.

Very pleasant, uninterrupted stay. Well thought off, taken care off hotel in rural part of Latvia
Pros:

Breakfast was pre-prepared for specific time we were asked to give. There was a decent variety to choose from and the staff seemed to be very responsive to other client needs. Rooms and the venue itself is very thought off. Very nice, friendly staff. Also a nice touch was free muffins at reception and welcome drinks at the room. Very nice of the hosts!

Cons:

I had a little trouble overflowing the shower and it spilling on the floor/carpet. Partially a fault of the shower design and my clumsiness combined.

be careful - English breakfast might not actually be an English breakfast; it’s just a regular breakfast buffet. although, I was asked what time I wanted to have breakfast, I had to have the leftovers of earlier guests (the buffet was nearly empty at 10.30am).

A great and pleasant experience!
Pros:

A tastefully decorated, small and clean hotel. A great place to relax with family. We especially appreciated the opportunity to visit the restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, where the food was freshly prepared and delicious. A quiet location, close to the city center.

Cons:

The inconvenience was that the hotel administration is not reachable throughout the day and can only be contacted during the restaurant’s opening hours.
