The staff made really the difference although not 100% . I would certainly visit Fez again but wouldn’t be staying again
Pros:

Good location, pool, 80% of the staff is very nice: room maids Soumyia and Fatima !
Hiba and Youssef ( front desk) Tarik, Amine, Wordin, and Khadija (at the pool)

Cons:

I ignore how old is the hotel, but the luck of maintenance and renovations made it become so old, it really doesn’t deserve a4 or 5 stars.
I was disappointed from the breakfast and the room itself where it was served. So much unorganized and poorly catered: after the first day I only had breakfast at the Marriott Hotel.
Rooms also deserve a refresh, and a big one ! like the hallways and the carpets.
They offer a taxi ride to the airport for 300 dirhams, a rip ! I got it for 70 with inDrive application!
I asked also for a late checkout, 300 dirhams for it too ( after staying 4 nights, no commercial incentive ) not ok !

Pensez aux voyageurs locaux.
Pros:

L'accueil, la gentillesse du réceptionniste Youssef et du préposé aux bagages Abderrahim pour leur professionnalisme. Merci encore.

Cons:

Impossible de prendre une douche correctement. Un manque flagrant de pression d'eau dans la chambre 325. Compliqué pour 3 nuits. Autre remarque, nous sommes des voyageurs locaux résidents marocains et avons remarqué que, l'attention est plus portée vers les groupes (voyageurs). Exemple, nous n'avons jamais eu une table dressée...pas de serviette de table contrairement aux tables réservées.
