House with rich history at a great location to check out the mountains.
Pros:

Good breakfast. Dinneroption in house is also nice since there is nothing much else around there.
Cosy room and really nice handout space downstairs at the hotel bar and lounge.

Cons:

The staff was reallyreally nice and trying - but very fresh on the job. So somethings went rather slowly, had to be explained on our end, etc. we didn’t mind that they did not speak Norwegian, but keep in mind if your not fluent in English.

If you have allergies, I suggest you tell them ahead of time. The first morning they didn’t have gluten-free bread, but they got it for us for our second breakfast.

Rustikales schönes Hotel, Highlight ist der Wasserfall.
Pros:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Wasserfall - toll! Auch das leise Säuseln des Wasserfalls im Hintergrund - sehr entspannend.

Das Hotel ist rustikal und mit viel Geschichte eingerichtet.

Es gibt schöne ruhige und spektakuläre Wanderstrecken in der Umgebung, die nicht stark frequentiert sind.

Das Abendessen im Hotel ist in Ordnung.

Cons:

Die Toilette funktioniert mit Vakuum, d.h. wie z.B. im Zug oder im Flugzeug - spült jemand nachts, hört ihn das halbe Hotel.

Angeblich sollten die Internet-Probleme (s. andere Bewertungen) durch eine neue Glasfaser-Leitung der Vergangenheit angehören - leider nicht! Video-Calls waren leider auf Grund von Verbindungsschwankungen nur eingeschränkt möglich (Aussetzer, Abbrüche, Verzögerungen), mein notwendiges Business Meeting ist leider dadurch ziemlich gescheitert.

Das Personal war etwas zu dünn besetzt, trotz nur weniger Hotelgäste gab es beim Frühstück und Abendessen Verzögerungen.

Noen av personalet virket veldig uerfarne.
Middagsporsoner var veldig små og grønnsaker var et savn både til frokost og i restauranten generelt

Pros:

Ambiente des Hotels sehr geschmackvoll. Wahnsinns Aussicht vom Zimmer auf den beeindruckenden Fluß. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Rundum wohl gefühlt.

Sensationelle Lage am Wasserfall!

Eine sensationell gute Lage. Direkt am Wasserfall. Aus dem Zimmer ein sehr guter Blick auf den Wasserfall.Wander und Spaziermöglichkeiten direkt am Haus!
