Great location and the staff were so helpful and friendly, especially the manageress who greeted us on our first stay at Casa Matara. The facility is very clean and feels like home. The breakfast and service was fantastic and we truly felt like they cared about the quality of our visit. They even gave us a parting gift which was so special and one of my favorite tokens of our stay is Cusco.

Great location and super helpful staff! I really appreciated that they went above and beyond to try to contact my tour guide in Spanish early in the morning when the guide didn't arrive on time. They also efficiently handled an early check-out and prepared a breakfast box for me. The hotel is very close to Plaza de Armas (about a 10-15 minute walk), and the surrounding area feels quite safe to walk around, even after sunset. They also welcomed me with comforting coca tea upon arrival, and they provide a hot water kettle along with free coca tea that guests can enjoy anytime during their stay.

Cons:

I could sometimes hear noise from other rooms through the bathroom window. It might be a bit annoying if you are sensitive to sound.

Tous. C'était parfait. Un personnel très accueillant et attentionné. Un petit coup de coeur pour la patronne. Un amour de bonne femme avec un coeur immense.

Very friendly staff, good location, very good breakfast.

Cons:

The bathrooms of the different rooms are interconnected through the ventillation system, so you can hear noises from the other bathrooms. The room was a bit cold at times.

Dias muito agradáveis em Cusco
Pros:

A equipe é extremamente atenciosa e sempre disposta a nos agradar. O destaque ficou para a senhora Carmen, sempre muito amável e atenciosa. Há sempre um chá quentinho à disposição. As instalações são renovadas e a pousada é bem localizada, pois fica a uma curta caminhada da Plaza de Armas. O café da manhã é excelente e quando saimos cedo para os passeios nos organizaram um lanche para levar. Segunda vez que nos hospedamos em Casa Matara.
